Abstract: A photo-detecting device includes a first semiconductor layer with a first dopant, a light-absorbing layer, a second semiconductor layer, and a semiconductor contact layer. The second semiconductor layer is located on the first semiconductor layer and has a first region and a second region, the light absorbing layer is located between the first semiconductor layer and the second semiconductor layer and has a third region and a fourth region, the semiconductor contact layer contacts the first region. The first region includes a second dopant and a third dopant, the second region includes second dopant, and the third region includes third dopant. The semiconductor contact layer has a first thickness greater than 50 ? and smaller than 1000 ?.

Abstract: Pruning shears include a first arm including a first handle and a jaw including a first tab; a first blade including a cutting edge and an ear opposite the cutting edge and having a first through hole wherein the first arm and the first blade are secured together by inserting the first tab into the first through hole; a second arm including a second handle and a joining section; a second blade secured to the joining section; a pivot joint for pivotably securing the first arm to the second arm; and a torsion spring positioned between the first arm and the second arm. The torsion spring exerts an expansion force to push the first arm and the second arm apart from each other.

Abstract: Pruning shears include a first arm comprising a first handle having a latch block, and an integral jaw having a recess; a second arm comprising a second handle and an integral joining section including a cavity and a peripheral trough; a first blade securely disposed on the recess and having a cutting edge; a second blade secured to the joining section for covering the cutting edge; a joint partially disposed on the cavity for pivotably securing the first arm to the second arm; a compression spring positioned between the arms; and a hollow locking member put on the latch block. Holding the arms toward each other to compress the spring and pushing the locking member toward the blades will lockingly engage the locking member with the trough. Pulling the locking member to disengage from the trough will open the shears.
