  • Patent number: 7756883
Abstract: A control method for modifying information concerning a remote work site includes: (i) setting up a database that comprises information concerning a remote work site; (ii) using an electronic device that has an image-capturing unit, in order to capture images of equipment or construction sites at the remote work site; (iii) communicating with an access platform and an option menu arranged on the access platform via an Internet connected module, creating an issue in a network database via the electronic device with an Internet browser and accessing information about the issue via the option menu that allows access to the database according to an authority level of a user; or creating an issue directly on a network database via an network connected module; and (iv) modifying the information in accordance with the issue of the images from the remote work site.

  • Publication number: 20100149738
Abstract: A PCB assembly includes a PCB. The PCB includes a detecting pad, a detecting voltage terminal and the controller. The detecting pad includes an accessing layer and a grounding layer. The grounding layer is connected to the ground. The accessing layer is electrically insulated from the grounding layer. The detecting voltage terminal is connected to the accessing layer of the detecting pad. The controller is connected to the accessing layer of the detecting pad. When the accessing layer is not connected to the grounding layer, the controller receives a high level voltage signal from the detecting pad. When the accessing layer is connected to the grounding layer, the controller receives a low level voltage signal from the detecting pad, and therefore the PCB is capable of determining what computer system the PCB is coupled with.

  • Publication number: 20100088449
Abstract: A detecting system includes a slot, a controller and a power source terminal. The slot includes a first detecting pin and a second detecting pin. The first detecting pin is electrically connected to a detecting voltage terminal. The second detecting pin is connected to ground. The controller is electrically connected to the first detecting pin. The controller receives a high level voltage signal from the first detecting pin when an expansion card is not detected. The power source terminal is connected to the slot under control of the controller. On the condition that the first detecting pin is electrically connected to the second detecting pin. The controller receives a low level voltage signal from the first detecting pin. The controller is then triggered to connect the power source terminal to the slot to supply power to the expansion card.

  • Publication number: 20070148019
Abstract: A method and device for connecting different types of fans to an information apparatus is proposed. Connecting pins required by the fans suitable for the information apparatus are summarized and integrated into a connecting device. Then, connection between the connecting pins of the fans and those of the connecting device is adjusted upon changing a different type of fans. Thus, only a single connecting device is required for connecting different types of fans to the information apparatus. In addition, the connection of pins can be adjusted based on actual requirement to control the position of an indicator for indicating fan status.
