Abstract: A method of channel state information (CSI) reporting by a first user equipment (UE) is disclosed. The method comprises receiving, from a base station (BS), a radio resource control (RRC) message to configure a first priority level for a logical channel; performing a sidelink (SL) communication with a second UE; generating a Medium Access Control (MAC) control element (CE) for a CSI report for the SL communication with a second priority level in a fixed value; determining a prioritization between the MAC CE including the CSI report and data from the logical channel according to the fixed value of the second priority level and the first priority level; and transmitting, to the second UE or the BS, at least one of the MAC CE and the data from the logical channel based on the determined prioritization.

Abstract: A method of performing a paging reception and a UE using the same are provided. The method includes: receiving a paging message, wherein the paging message comprises a first list; determining whether a UE identity of the UE included in the first list; determining whether a paging cause corresponding to the UE identity indicated by a second list of the paging message after determining that the UE identity included in the first list; and forwarding the paging cause to an upper layer of the UE in response to the paging cause being indicated by the second list.

Abstract: A method for sidelink operation performed by a user equipment (UE) is provided. The method includes receiving, from a first cell, a conditional handover command that includes an indication of a second cell and one or more triggering conditions for handover to the second cell, performing handover to the second cell after determining that at least one of the triggering conditions is fulfilled, and applying a sidelink resource configuration that is stored in the UE after performing handover to the second cell based on the conditional handover command.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for handling measurement operations in a wireless communication system are provided. A method performed by a User Equipment (UE) includes receiving a first measurement configuration from a first serving cell; performing, in a first Radio Resource Control (RRC) state which is an RRC idle state or an RRC inactive state, a first measurement operation based on the first measurement configuration; generating a first measurement result; receiving a first measurement report request from a second serving cell; retaining the first measurement result after the UE transitions from the first RRC state to a second RRC state which is an RRC connected state; and transmitting the first measurement result to the second serving cell, wherein the first serving cell and the first RRC state are associated with a first Radio Access Technology (RAT) and the second serving cell and the second RRC state are associated with a second RAT.

Abstract: A UE and a method for handling UE onboarding are provided. The method includes receiving a first indication, a second indication, and a third indication from a cell via a SIB1, the cell operated by one or more SNPNs; reporting, by an AS layer of the UE, the first indication, the second indication, and the third indication to a NAS layer of the UE; receiving, by the AS layer of the UE, an indication for UE onboarding from the NAS layer of the UE; and transmitting a first RRC message to the cell, the first RRC message including an onboarding request associated with the indication for UE onboarding.

Abstract: A system and a method of random access resource selection are provided. The method includes a target Base Station (BS) transmitting a first Synchronization Signal Block (SSB) to a User Equipment (UE), the first SSB associated with a first contention-free random access resource for the UE to transmit a random access preamble; the target BS transmitting a second SSB to the UE, the second SSB associated with a contention-based random access resource; and in a case that a first Synchronization Signal-Reference Signal Received Power (SS-RSRP) of the first SSB is not greater than an SS-RSRP threshold and a second SS-RSRP of the second SSB is greater than the SS-RSRP threshold, the target BS receiving the random access preamble from the UE using the contention-based random access resource.

Abstract: A method for a system information (SI) request procedure performed by a user equipment (UE) is provided. The method includes: receiving a system information block type 1 (SIB1) from a cell; transmitting, to the cell, a first message including a common control channel (CCCH) service data unit (SDU) that includes a radio resource control (RRC) SI request message; receiving, from the cell, a medium access control (MAC) control element (CE) including a UE contention resolution identity; and indicating, by a MAC entity of the UE, reception of an acknowledgment for the RRC SI request message to an RRC entity of the UE after determining that the UE contention resolution identity matches multiple consecutive bits, starting from the most significant bit (MSB), of the CCCH SDU. The SIB1 does not include information related to a Random Access (RA) resource specific to SI requested by the RRC SI request message.

Abstract: A server includes a communication module, a database and a processor. The communication module receives identification information of a user of a mobile terminal and a movement status and a geographic position of the user from the mobile terminal. The processor determines real time traffic condition of the geographic position of the user according to the real time traffic information of the area where the user is located stored in the database and evaluates a time period to be spent from the geographic position of the user to the display terminal according to the movement status of the user and the real time traffic condition of the area. The communication module further transmits the geographic position of the user, the evaluated time period and the identification information of the user to the display terminal. A system including the server and a method of displaying a user status are also disclosed.

Abstract: A method for displaying video image of a television includes processing video signals corresponding to video images transmitted from an electronic device and determining whether the TV programs are displayed on a full displaying window or on a partial displaying window. The display is controlled to provide a first video image displaying window overlaying the full displaying window if the TV programs are displayed on the full displaying window or provide a second video image displaying window spaced from the partial displaying window if the TV programs are displayed on the partial displaying window. The video image is displayed in the first video image displaying window or the second video image displaying window. Any human faces in the video image displayed in the first video image displaying window cause the video image to be transparent except for the faces. A related TV is also provided.

Abstract: A terminal for recording video message includes an audio capture unit, an image capture unit, a storage unit and a processing unit. The audio capture unit captures audio data. The image capture unit captures image data. The image data is associated with the captured audio data. The storage unit stores identities of recipients. The processing unit determines one or more recipients of a video message. A video message is created and the relationships between the one or more determined recipients and the created message are established. The created message and the established relationships are transmitted to an apparatus for broadcasting the video message.

Abstract: A method for broadcasting TV show as used in a smart TV. The smart TV comprises a body, a facial image capturing unit and a storage unit. The storage unit stores facial images of registered users and a mapping relationship between a number of favorite TV show lists and a number of accounts. The method comprises following steps. Capturing the facial images in front of the facial image capturing unit, identifying whether the captured facial images contain one or more facial images of registered users of the smart TV and identify the number of the registered users contained in the captured facial images. In addition, controlling the smart TV to enter a broadcasting mode according to the identified users. Importing TV shows associated with the broadcasting mode of the smart TV and the favorite TV show lists. A smart TV is also provided by the present disclosure.

Abstract: A server includes a communication module, a database and a processor. The communication module receives identification information of a user of a mobile terminal and a movement status and a geographic position of the user from the mobile terminal. The processor determines real time traffic condition of the geographic position of the user according to the real time traffic information of the area where the user is located stored in the database and evaluates a time period to be spent from the geographic position of the user to the display terminal according to the movement status of the user and the real time traffic condition of the area. The communication module further transmits the geographic position of the user, the evaluated time period and the identification information of the user to the display terminal. A system including the server and a method of displaying a user status are also disclosed.

Abstract: A system and a method of adaptively suppressing false-color artifacts are disclosed. A luma spatial frequency unit detects edges or an area with a substantially high luma spatial frequency within an active window, and a chroma spatial frequency unit detects substantial fluctuations in colors within the active window. A false-color detector determines occurrence of false-color artifacts according to results of the luma spatial frequency unit and the chroma spatial frequency unit. A compensator performs compensation on chroma components if the false-color detector decides that the false-color artifacts occur.

Abstract: An image processing method includes receiving an image data including a first pixel, a second pixel and a third pixel, the second pixel being between the first pixel and the third pixel; calculating a difference between two initial chrominance values of the first pixel and two initial chrominance values of the second pixel to determine a first difference, and calculating a difference between the two initial chrominance values of the second pixel and two initial chrominance values of the third pixel to determine a second difference; comparing the first difference with the second difference to select either the first pixel or the third pixel as a target pixel; and determining two adjusted chrominance values of the second pixel according to at least two initial chrominance values of the target pixel.
