Abstract: An apparatus and method for inferring optimal pick-up/drop-off locations for transport services use historical bookings data associated with past bookings, the past bookings having a pick-up or drop-off location within a defined geographical area. Each historical data instance for a booking includes a geographical data point recorded at a time of a pick-up/drop-off event within the geographical area. The historical data is processed to identify clusters of geographic data points having similar geographical locations. A quality indicator is determined and compared with a first threshold. If the quality indicator satisfies the first threshold, a cluster centroid for each cluster is designated as an optimal pick-up/drop-off location for the geographical area.

The cover body (1) is connected with the inner-layer container in a sealing way to form a sealed cavity, and a liquid inlet and a liquid outlet are provided on the sealed cavity. An inner pipe (3) is supported by a high-strength outer pipe (2) in the drug decocting container, such that the wall thickness of the inner pipe (3) can be thin, thereby reducing costs of the inner pipe (3), providing a condition for disposable use of the inner pipe (3), and preventing drugs from influencing each other by residues in the inner pipe (3) so as to affect the quality of a beverage while decocting different drugs.

Abstract: Disclosed is a positioning method for biochip spotting, which can spot the bio-probe precisely on the specific position of a biochip substrate, and the steps thereof comprising: (a) providing reference points on a biochip substrate; (b) taking an image of the position of each reference point; (c) calculating a first spotting position and performing spotting according to position information of the image of the positions of reference points of step (b); (d) taking and recording the image of the spotted position; (e) calculating to make feedback correction and setting up the next spotting position according to the position information of the image of step (d) and then performing spotting; and (f) repeatedly performing step (d) to step (e) until all spotting is completed.

Abstract: A core device of optical isolator comprises a polarizer and a polarization-rotating device, which are integrated together as a modularized device. The modularized core device can be combined with other optical components to provide optical isolators of desired characteristics. With the modularized core device, the assembling of optical isolator is simplified and combination with other component is enhanced, thereby extending the applications of the core device.
