  • Patent number: 9949873
Abstract: A device and method for reducing heat loss in at least one region of a subject's body is described. The device includes a mask component, a heat releasing reservoir, and a conduit connecting the mask component to the heat releasing reservoir and creating an airflow path therethrough, wherein the heat releasing reservoir includes at least one air permeable region that is impermeable to condensed water. Heat loss is reduced by the subject positioning the mask over the mouth and/or nose, positioning the heat releasing reservoir over the region of the subject's body, and passing warmed air exhaled by the subject into the mask through the conduit and into the heat releasing reservoir, such that the warmed air passes through the heat releasing reservoir while retaining condensed water within the heat releasing reservoir, thereby increasing the temperature of the air surrounding the at least one region of the subject's body.

  • Publication number: 20130320726
Abstract: An electromagnetic rocking chair is disclosed. The electromagnetic rocking chair includes a fixing part, a moving part being moveable relative to the fixing part, at least two electromagnets disposed on the fixing part, and at least one permanent magnet disposed on the moving part. When the moving magnet moves to a position over the fixed magnet, the fixed magnet is electrified to produce repulsion forces due to homopolar repulsion, whereby the repulsion forces and the inertial force generated during the course of movement of the moving magnet can move the electromagnetic rocking chair smoothly.

  • Patent number: 8500201
Abstract: As shown in FIGS. 1-3, the permanent magnet 8 is fixed on the one of the suspension rods 9 and located between the two coils 6 of the two electromagnets 1. To make the chair seat 12 which is originally at rest rock, the electromagnetic rocking chair will be powered on first, and then a rocking button on the control panel (not shown) will be pressed down. After that, the wires a, b will alternately produce higher and lower electric levels (triodes Q1, Q2, Q3 and Q4, Q5, Q6 work alternately) to produce an alternately changing magnetic field within the coils 6 of the electromagnet 1, and the alternately changing magnetic field will push and pull the permanent magnet 8, making the chair seat 12 move back and forth.

  • Publication number: 20120271258
Abstract: The sputum sucker includes an outer tube and an inner axially slidably disposed in the outer tube. A normally-closed valve and a sleeve are disposed at a front end and a rear end of the outer tube, respectively. A bracket is fixed at a rear end of the inner tube. A connecting handle is articulatorily connected between the sleeve and the bracket. A torsion spring is disposed between the bracket and the connecting handle for normally exerting a force on the bracket to push the outer tube forwards. The normally-closed valve will seal up the inner tube when the connecting handle is not forced. The normally-closed valve will be broken open by the inner tube when the connecting handle is operated to pull the outer tube rearwards, and the normally-closed valve clings to the suction head to clean up while the normally-closed valve is being broken open and moved rearwards.
