Abstract: A waterproof shelter includes a frame having two elongated first sides and two short second sides, a canopy mounted on the top of the frame and having two elongated first sides and two short second sides, two elongated side panels each mounted on one of the two first sides of the frame and each having a top side securely bonded to one of the two first sides of the canopy by means of a heat welding process, two end connecting panels each having a first side and a second side, the first side securely bonded to one of the two second sides of the canopy by means of a heat welding process, and at least one auxiliary sheltering panel mounted on one of the two second sides of the frame, and having a top side secured to the second side of one of the two end connecting panels.

Abstract: A safety package of the strung up electrical lights comprises a first packing member and a second packing member made from carton papers. The first packing member has several rows of circular recesses for sequentially mounting the strung up electrical lights therein and places into a carton box and the second packing member has same rows of smaller circular recesses made in registry with the circular recesses of the first packing member so that the smaller recesses engage the topmost of the respective lights when the second packing member protects the top of the lights.

Abstract: An improved fuse plug is provided. The fuse plug includes a housing, a pair of first and second fuse chambers formed in opposite side of the housing, a first blade directly connected with a first cord, a second blade indirectly connected with a second cord via a cartridge fuse disposed in the first fuse chamber, a stand-in cartridge fuse reserved in the second fuse chamber and both the fuse chambers are closed by a pair of waterproof safety fuse doors. A sleeve member made in conforming with the housing is sleeved on the housing and a fuse pick which is made from flexible plastic wraps on the cartridge fuse for facilitating a ready removal of the fuses from the chambers.

Abstract: A waterproof lampholder is provided. The lampholder comprises a lamp receptacle and a cap member. An annular extension is formed at an internal wall and adjacent a trumpet opening of the lamp recceptacle engageable with an outer periphery of a bulb for preventing external water from permeating into the forward end of the lampholder. An inverse V-shaped annular projection is in the bottom of the lamp receptacle aligned with a V-shaped annular groove formed in the inward surface of the cap member for preventing external water from permeating into the rearward end of the lamp receptacle. A pair of slotted projections on the cap member is aligned with a pair of M-shaped slots in the bottom of the lamp receptacle to define a pair of juxtaposed circular spaces for receiving a two-ply electrical cable which also provides waterproof function. Upon this arrangement, the present invention will no longer be causing an short circuit or an electric shock while raining or using a sprinkle in a yard.

Abstract: A Christmas light comprises generally a light stand, a lamp receptacle and contact means thereof. Means are provided on the bottom of the receptacle to stably embed the contact means and the power cables therein. This disclosure has been characterized in a pair of the copperflakes which have spurs to thrust into the cables to transmit electric current to an incandescent bulb mounted on the receptacle and that the cables are jammed in a oval shaped portion of a groove thereof, so as to prevent the cable from being twitched off.

Abstract: A process for making a copper-plated aluminum wire by first scraping an alumina film formed on an outer circumferential surface on an aluminum core wire in a deaeration tank and then plating a pure copper on the scraped aluminum core wire to form a copper-plated aluminum wire without forming an alumina layer between the aluminum core wire and the outer copper plating layer.

Abstract: A process for making blades of an electric plug directly from a linear strip includes: forming a longitudinal metallic strip from a rod coil; punching the strip to form plural blade members; directly flattening and thinning a rear root portion of each blade for crimping an electric wire so that a longitudinal strip can be conveniently formed into a plurality of plug blades without wasting much scraps cut from the metallic strip.

Abstract: An improved safety end-connector used for extension cord includes: a circuit protection fuse, a detachable fuse box for easy inspection and replacement, two lead-in wires clamped firmly by a tail clamp of a base, a plurality of pairs of socket openings each pair of socket openings protected by a shutter slide, and an indicator lamp furnished for indicating the receptacle during night time or in a dark place, or serving as a trouble indicator.

Abstract: A decorative bulb includes:a bulb socket, a pair of doubly-sticking conducting plates inserted in the socket to electrically connect a pair of filament leads with two electric wires, a sealing plug sealing the socket bottom and squeezing the two wires with the two conducting plates for ensuring a better electric contact between the wires and the conducting plates, and a bulb having an annular groove formed on a bulb periphery engaged with a ring extension formed inside the socket, so as to obtain a decorative bulb with stabler mounting of the grooved bulb within the ring-extended socket for water-proof purpose and to save production cost by eliminating a base as conventionally embedded between the bulb and the socket.

Abstract: An adjustable flasher plug includes two load circuits such as light indicative circuits or decorative bulbs connected in series operatively contacting a left conducting pin of two pins connecting a power source, and a bimetallic strip jacketed in a heating coil operatively connecting two conducting pins of the power source, whereby upon the heating of the coil, the bimetallic strip will be bent to alternatively shift its contact from a load circuit to the other load circuit to form a simple, compact flasher device with adjustable alternative shift (flashing) frequency of the two load circuits.
