  • Patent number: 5097717
Abstract: A gear shift transmission for a motor vehicle has a transmission housing which comprises an axle housing, an intermediate plate and a housing bell. The input shaft and the output shaft of the gear shift transmission are supported in three places, specifically in a front bearing plate of the axle housing, in the intermediate plate, and in a rear bearing plate of the housing bell. The reverse gear and the lower forward gears are arranged in the axle housing, and the higher forward gears are arranged in the housing bell.

  • Patent number: 4771648
Abstract: A change-speed transmission for a motor vehicle which includes as input shafts a central shaft supported in an intermediate plate of the transmission housing and a hollow shaft supported on the central shaft near the intermediate plate. An output shaft for the axle drive is supported in the transmission housing parallelly to the input shafts. The transmission housing is constructed two-partite or three-partite whereby a separating plane extends within the area of the intermediate plate and parallel thereto. A first group of transmission speeds is coordinated to the central shaft and is located on one side of the intermediate plate, while a second group of transmission speeds coordinated to the hollow shaft is located on the other side of the intermediate plate.

  • Patent number: 4632234
Abstract: A control system for a double clutch of a power-shiftable motor vehicle transmission, in which both clutches are hydraulically actuated by an electro-hydraulic control system which is controlled by an electronic control apparatus according to a predetermined program responding to the signals of a speed selector lever. For starting, the control system is adapted to be additionally manually influenceable by a clutch pedal which acts by way of a hydraulic transmitter cylinder and a receiver cylinder on the control slide valve member of the control system.

  • Patent number: 4616674
Abstract: A 4/3-directional control valve with a tubularly shaped valve housing that includes along its longitudinal dimension a central return connection to a reservoir tank for hydraulic liquid, to the left and right of the return connection a working connection to the front and backside of a hydraulic piston disposed symmetrically thereto as well as a pump connection to a pump supplying a constant pressure; these hydraulic connections are adapted to be controlled by two oppositely operating control pistons having a coil spring disposed therebetween, whose end faces are adapted to be acted upon with pump pressure by electromagnetically actuated pilot valves; the volume of the hydraulic liquid which is displaced at one piston side during the left respective right movement of the hydraulic piston, reaches the other piston side by way of the two working connections.
