  • Publication number: 20230045889
Abstract: Disclosed herein are a device and method designed for determining the liquid level in a container through measuring the pressure in the liquid by a pressure sensor located at the bottom of the container within a chamber designed to prevent solid particles dispersed in the liquid from reaching the sensor. Measuring the pressure of the liquid in the container can be based on an upper chamber located above a lower chamber, both adjacent chambers are located within a container. The upper chamber comprises tiny slots allowing the liquid in the container to enter the upper chamber and exert a weight on a diaphragm gasket functioning as a common-wall of the two adjacent chambers. The diaphragm gasket exerts pressure resulting from the liquid weight, on the lower chamber containing the pressure sensor designed to measure the pressure exerted on the lower chamber.

  • Publication number: 20220060500
Abstract: The present invention discloses a method operable by a discovery system comprising at least one computerized device connected to an internet-protocol based network, the computerized device configured to operate a scan on a range of internet-protocol addresses and detect open ports available for communication. The discovery system is configured to generate an open port list denoted as first open port list of the open ports available for communication in the given range of the internet-protocol addresses and send request headers over an application protocol to at least one port of the ports in the first open port list and receive response headers comprising header fields from open ports available for communication in the range of internet-protocol addresses.

  • Publication number: 20180091252
Abstract: The invention concerns a vehicle tracking network including a plurality of subscriber vehicles and a control-center; and systems and methods for tracking vehicles, which are subscribers to such vehicle tracking network. In certain implementations, the method for tracking a subscriber vehicle includes the following operations carried out at the subscriber vehicle: monitoring operation of one or more services related to at least one of a wireless network communication service and positioning service associated with the subscriber vehicle; upon detecting a failure in at least one of said services, generating a corresponding distress signal encoded to be identifiable by other subscriber vehicle(s) of the vehicle tracking network; and broadcasting the encoded distress signal such that it is detectable by one or more of the other subscriber vehicles of the vehicle tracking network, which are located in the vicinity of the subscriber vehicle broadcasting the distress signal.

  • Publication number: 20150332525
Abstract: A system, method, and apparatus for tracking, organizing, and displaying the parking behavior of a vehicle. In one aspect the invention can be an apparatus for tracking parking behavior of a vehicle comprising: a device comprising a processor, a movement detector for detecting whether the vehicle is in a parked state or a non-parked state, a location identifier for identifying a geographic location of the vehicle, and a transceiver operably coupled together; and wherein for each occurrence in which the movement detector detects that the vehicle has entered into the parked state, the processor is configured to: (1) measure a duration that the vehicle remains in the parked state; and (2) upon the duration exceeding a predetermined minimum time threshold without the vehicle transitioning into the non-parked state, store parking information data relating to the occurrence as a parking instance.

  • Patent number: 9092822
Abstract: A system, method and apparatus for tracking the parking behavior of a vehicle. In one aspect, the method comprises: a) recording an address associated with a person to whom possession of a vehicle has been provided, b) detecting when the vehicle transitions between a parked state and a non-parked state, and measuring a time duration each time the vehicle is in a parked state; c) for each time duration that exceeds a predetermined minimum time threshold, storing parking information data including a geographic location of the vehicle as a parking instance; d) for a predetermined initial time period subsequent to the person taking possession of the vehicle, comparing, the geographic locations of the parking instances to the associated address; and e) upon determining that none of the geographic locations of the parking instances determined during the predetermined initial time period correspond with the associated address, generating an alert.
