    Abstract: A sheath for loading and retrieving a prosthetic implant is disclosed, which includes a tube. The tube has opposing distal and proximal ends in its axial direction, and the distal end has a plurality of support rods arranged at intervals in a circumferential direction of the tube and having relative converged and flared configurations. A plurality of connecting strips are provided in the axial direction between two adjacent support rods, and each connecting strip is folded back and forth in the converged configuration and tends to be straightened in the flared configuration relative to the converged configuration. The straightened lengths of the connecting strips increase sequentially from the proximal end to the distal end, and two ends of each connecting strip are connected to the support rods on the corresponding sides and the connecting portions have the same axial level.

The expandable section has relative converged configuration and flared configuration and includes a primary expandable area and a secondary expandable area. The primary expandable area includes a plurality of first expandable pieces arranged at intervals in a circumferential direction of the body. The secondary expandable area includes a plurality of second expandable pieces arranged at intervals in the circumferential direction of the body, and all the second expandable pieces include two alternating groups consisting of a first group formed by further extending the first expandable pieces to the distal end and a second group formed by connecting strips wound between two adjacent first expandable pieces.

    Abstract: An expandable sheath for transcatheter delivery system is disclosed, including a tube having opposing distal and proximal ends in its axial direction. The distal end is provided with a plurality of support rods arranged at intervals in a circumferential direction of the tube, and the support rods extending axially and having relative converged and flared configurations. More than two connecting strips are provided in the axial direction between two adjacent support rods. The connecting strip extends in a curved path and undulates in the circumferential direction, and undulation degrees of the connecting strips increase sequentially from the proximal end to the distal end. The connecting strip has a first connecting portion and a second connecting portion respectively connected with two adjacent support rods in the circumferential direction, and the first connecting portion and the second connecting portion are located at different axial levels of the tube.
