The invention also provides related pharmaceutical compositions. Also provided are related methods of inhibiting cell proliferation in an individual and methods of treating cancer in by such pharmaceutical compositions. The present application also provides methods of treating an inflammatory disease and inhibiting inflammation in an individual comprising administering to the individual an effective amount of a therapeutic agent comprising an inhibitory peptide that interferes with the interaction between E1A and CtBP.
