  • Publication number: 20250049550
Abstract: A veterinary syringe includes a syringe cylinder having a front dispensing end and a rear end. A handle has a front gripping part on the syringe cylinder and a rear gripping part fastened pivotably to the front gripping part. A metering device sets the fluid volume to be dispensed. The rear end portion of a plunger rod is fastened to the rear gripping part such that by pivoting of the rear gripping part in the direction of the syringe cylinder, the plunger rod is moved in the syringe cylinder to the front dispensing end to dispense fluid from the syringe cylinder. An adjustable front stop sets the maximum stroke of the plunger rod. The rear end portion of the plunger rod is fastened pivotably to the rear gripping part such that a relative pivoting movement is the only possible relative movement between the plunger rod and the rear gripping part.

  • Publication number: 20250050029
Abstract: A veterinary syringe includes a syringe cylinder having a front dispensing end and a rear end. A plunger rod is arranged displaceably in the syringe cylinder. There is a fluid connection from the connection through a feed channel in the plunger rod as far as the syringe cylinder. The plunger rod has, in the front end portion thereof, a nonreturn valve which blocks the fluid connection and opens only when the pressure in the feed channel lies above the pressure in the syringe cylinder by a predetermined value. The plunger is connected releasably to the front end portion and the nonreturn valve is accessible for maintenance purposes after the plunger is detached from the end portion. An actuatable safety mechanism prevents an unintentional detaching of the plunger by detaching of the plunger from the front end portion being possible only after the safety mechanism is actuated.

  • Patent number: 11420032
Abstract: A magazine for accommodating pellets for use in an injector includes a barrel comprising a hollow cylindrical compartment with an open front end and an open rear end. The cross-section of the compartment is selected to accommodate a pellet. The cross section of the rear end is smaller than the accommodated pellet so that it cannot be extracted from the rear end of the compartment. The magazine further includes a cover for closing the front end, including a dispensing opening which, in the closed state, is positioned in front of the front end and has a cross-section selected such that the pellet can pass through the dispensing opening. At least one bar projecting into the dispensing opening prevents the pellet from accidentally falling out, and when subjected to a predetermined force, can be bent outwards such that the pellet can be delivered through the dispensing opening.

  • Patent number: 11166798
Abstract: An injector for injecting pellets includes a main body, a delivery opening which is formed on the main body and to which a hollow-bore needle can be connected and a magazine guide formed in the main body for a magazine which, for accommodating the pellets, comprises several barrels. Each barrel includes a hollow cylindrical compartment with an open front end and an open rear end. The magazine guide brings the magazine, barrel by barrel, into an injection position, in which a plunger of the injector can be introduced into the barrel via the rear end of the barrel positioned in the injection position and moved in the direction of the delivery opening in order to deliver the pellet provided in the barrel via the delivery opening. A drawer is formed in the main body for accommodating a replacement hollow-bore needle.

  • Patent number: 10905824
Abstract: A bottle holder for a syringe includes a stop surface, a piercing hollow spike protruding beyond the stop surface, a guideway, and a first and a second clamping element. Each clamping element includes a through-hole and is moveable back and forth between an insertion position and a clamping position. When the clamping elements are in the insertion position, a neck of the bottle can be moved through the through-holes until the front end of the bottle abuts against the stop surface such that the piercing hollow spike pierces a film at the front end of the bottle. At least one of the clamping elements in its clamping position presses against the neck of the bottle in order to clamp the bottle in the holder.

  • Patent number: 10238802
Abstract: A syringe includes a first syringe barrel and a second syringe barrel. Each barrel includes a delivery end to which an end piece with a channel is secured, a piston which is arranged movable in the syringe barrel and can be moved towards the delivery end in order to deliver a fluid located between the delivery end and the piston via the channel. The two syringe barrels are mechanically connected to each other such that the distance between them cannot be changed. At least one of the two end pieces can be secured to the allocated delivery end in different positions for adjustment of the distance between the two channels.
