  • Publication number: 20240176712
Abstract: Recovery of a primary image is facilitated by using non-consistent snapshots on a primary storage array and consistent snapshots on a secondary storage array to avoid the need to transmit entire secondary replicas from the secondary storage array to the primary storage array. Non-consistent snaps of the primary replicas are generated by the primary storage array. Consistent snaps of the secondary replicas are generated by the secondary storage array. The primary replicas are recovered by linking non-consistent snaps to primary staging volumes, linking consistent snaps to secondary staging volumes, synchronizing the primary and secondary staging volumes, and using the synchronized primary staging volumes to recover the primary replicas.

  • Publication number: 20240176713
Abstract: Recovery of a primary image is facilitated by using consistent snapshots on a primary storage array and consistent snapshots on a secondary storage array to avoid the need to transmit entire secondary replicas of storage objects from the secondary storage array to the primary storage array. Consistent snaps of the primary replicas are generated by the primary storage array. Consistent snaps of the secondary replicas are generated by the secondary storage array. The primary image is recovered by linking consistent snaps on the primary storage array to primary staging volumes, linking consistent snaps on the secondary storage array to secondary staging volumes, synchronizing the primary and secondary staging volumes, and migrating host IO traffic to the synchronized staging volumes.

  • Publication number: 20240160728
Abstract: Attributes of snapshots are provided that ensure snapshot preservation and enable utilization of snapshots to be restricted. If a cyber intrusion event is detected, fence attributes are set on snapshots that were created after the time of the possible cyber intrusion event to restrict those snapshots from being used for cyber recovery until after the data contained in the snapshots has been validated. If a snapshot is selected for use, the fence attribute is checked and, if set, prevents the snapshot from being used until the data of the snapshot is validated. Additionally, keep attributes are set on snapshots that were created before the possible cyber intrusion event, to preserve those snapshots to prevent the snapshots from termination. If a snapshot is selected for termination, the keep attribute is checked, and if set, prevents the snapshot from being terminated until the keep attribute is reset.

  • Publication number: 20210252254
Abstract: Described is a maneuverable endovascular catheter comprising an elongated and hollow body extending longitudinally and provided with a distal aperture, a proximal aperture, and a lateral aperture in fluid connection with the hollow body. The catheter is further provided with a steering line secured at the exterior distal aspect of the catheter. The steering line enters the interior lumen of the hollow body of the catheter through the lateral aperture and traverses the length of the hollow body. Tension applied to the proximal end of the steering line may deflect the distal aspect of the catheter according to the amount of force applied. The maneuverable endovascular catheter described may be used in endovascular surgeries or procedures.

  • Patent number: 9943950
Abstract: A threaded pin remover for a threaded pin in an interference fit in a structure is provided. The threaded pin remover includes a housing. A pin grasper is slidably mounted in the housing and includes: a first end configured to couple to a linear actuator for slidably moving the pin grasper between an extended position relative to the housing and a retracted position relative to the housing. A second end of the pin grasper includes a pin grasping collet configured to, in the retracted position relative the housing, engage with a portion of the housing to cause grasping of the exposed portion of the threaded pin by the pin grasping collet to release the threaded pin from the interference fit, allowing removing of the threaded pin from the structure.
