  • Publication number: 20080132316
Abstract: A gaming system combines roulette and mahjong gaming into a single new game for ball-effecting a mahjong event. The game may comprise a grouped series of roulette wheel assemblies bearing mahjong symbols and a plurality of balls respectively receivable in ball-receiving sectors for identifying a number of mahjong symbols. The group of mahjong symbols identified by the randomly received balls defines a wagerable mahjong event. Players may participate in the gaming in a player participation area, which area is opposed a theatrical or auditorium type visual display of the grouped roulette wheel assembly action. Players may input their wagers in the player participation area and watch the roulette action unfold on the visual displays. Certain methodology for effecting the mahjong event is further supported by the roulette medium.

  • Publication number: 20080128991
Abstract: A roulette game enables single-spin formation of meaningful character strings, which character strings may be coupled to tones for enhancing the gaming experience. The meaningful character strings may be defined by solfege-enabling letter groups, which letter groups may prompt underlying tones in solmization. The syllabic roulette game comprises a roulette wheel, a wager-enabling layout, and a plurality of balls. The wheel comprises alphabetic characters against a rainbow colored backdrop for enabling various payout schemes. A color-coordinated wager support surface is preferably disposed adjacent the roulette wheel for facilitating wager placement.

  • Publication number: 20080132315
Abstract: A roulette apparatus enables and enhances roulette gaming. The roulette apparatus comprises a roulette wheel assembly, a ball-delivery tower, ball-conducting conduit, and disguised wheel monitoring equipment. The ball-delivery tower comprises a tower support portion and a tower arm. The tower arm may enclose and partially disguise the wheel-monitoring equipment. The tower support portion provides a certain vertical dimension for maximizing roulette ball potential energy. The ball-conducting conduit extends intermediate a ball inlet and a ball outlet. The ball outlet is positioned for outletting the roulette ball upon an upper wheel surface of the roulette wheel assembly. The tower and the ball-conducting conduit convert roulette ball potential energy to roulette ball kinetic energy and further function to effect a self-launching roulette ball for enhancing the roulette gaming experience.
