The sensor device includes a housing which is inserted in an insertion direction into the aperture of the inner trim of the motor vehicle, a circuit board arranged in the housing, at least one electrical temperature sensor element arranged on the circuit board, and latching lugs arranged on the housing which form an engagement with the latching springs formed on the inner trim. The engagement of the latching lugs with the latching springs forms a latching arrangement which fixes the housing when inserted into the aperture.
