Abstract: Systems and methods for tagging transactions with emotions are disclosed. According to one embodiment, in an information processing device comprising at least one computer processor, a method for associating an emotion with a transaction may include: (1) receiving, at a computer application executed by the computer processor, transaction information for a transaction conducted by a user; (2) presenting at least a portion of the transaction on a display of the information processing device and a plurality of icons, each icon representing an emotion, to associate the transaction with; (3) receiving a selection of one of the plurality of icons; and (4) associating the transaction with the emotion associated with the selected icon.

Abstract: Systems and methods that provide for a virtual reality entertainment system that supplies immersive entertainment and creates a sensation for a user similar to having guests in a remote location to be physically present as virtual guests. Such virtual reality entertainment system can supply a graphic and/or audio; wherein interconnected computers, video and audio processing devices, supply a live interaction between a user and a guest(s). Although guests are only present virtually (e.g., electronically present with other objects/user within the environment) such virtual invitation enables a user and guests to concurrently experience the entertainment together (e.g., a live sporting event, spectator game). In a related aspect, the subject innovation can implement holographic avatars, and a plurality of communication interfaces, to imitate (and/or transform) a relationship between the user and the virtual guests/surrounding environment.

Abstract: A device includes a housing adapted for wearing on a human body, with a sparse light-emitting array including a plurality of spaced light-emitting sources, a control circuit including a wireless module, the control circuit configured to control lighting of the sparse light-emitting array in response to external control signals that are received wirelessly; and at least one electrical contact arranged on the housing, the at least one electrical contact arranged to provide at least one of: electrical power to the smart wearable device or data transfer between the smart wearable device and an external device.

Abstract: A system that enables a cloud-based data repository to function as a secure ‘drop-box’ for data that corresponds to a user is provided. The ‘drop box’ can be facilitated through the use of cryptographic keying technologies. For instance, data that is ‘dropped’ by or on behalf of a particular user can be encrypted using a public key that corresponds to a user-specific private key. Thus, although the data resides within the large pool of ‘cloud-based’ data, it is protected since it can only be decrypted by using the private key, which is kept secret. The innovation can further facilitate user-centric secure storage by partitioning the cloud-based repository into multiple partitions, each of which corresponds to specific indexing criteria.

Abstract: Various technologies pertaining to instant messaging are described herein. A persistent instant messaging group is created, wherein the persistent instant messaging group comprises a plurality of members and persists over a plurality of instant messaging sessions. Instances of an instant messaging application are installed on mobile telephones, and the instant messaging application is used to transmit instant messages between members of the persistent instant messaging group. Messages directed towards offline members of the persistent instant messaging group are transmitted to such members when they come online.
