  • Publication number: 20170037588
Abstract: A sanitary way of picking up pet waste by removing the Poop Scooper from the Belt Clip, removing a bag from the bag holder, putting a bag over the poop scooper, holding it on with an o ring, opening the poop clamps, tucking the bag inside of the poop scooper clamps. Opening the poop clamps placing the open poop scooper over the pet waste. Then closing it, picking up the waste. Removing the o ring from the bag, pull the bag down over the clamps. Tie the open end of the bag, open the poop scooper, remove the bag and dispose of it. Place the Poop Scooper back in the Belt Clip. And do it all without touching any poop.

  • Patent number: 6058688
Abstract: A windrower platform is constructed with a full-length, upper center-feed auger which counter rotates relative to and cooperates with lower, right- and left-hand cantilever-mounted augers to convey harvested crop to form a windrow on the ground at a central discharge zone of the platform. The various driven elements of the platform are driven from a main power distribution gear box having an input shaft coupled for being driven by a reversible hydraulic fluid motor. The upper auger is used for transmitting power to the opposite side of the platform from the main power distribution gear box and a transmission assembly is provided at this opposite side for driving the lower right-hand auger in a direction opposite to that of the upper auger.

  • Patent number: 5778644
Abstract: A self-propelled windrower is provided with a platform including a reel which sweeps crop to be cut over a sickle cutterbar and into the nip of a pair of counter-rotating center-feed augers that, in turn, deliver the crop to the nip of a pair of counter-rotating conditioner rolls; and these driven components may be reversed to disgorge slugs of crop. The reversible drive includes a hydraulic pump carried by the traction unit and coupled to a motor carried by the platform. The hydraulic motor on the platform is coupled to power a main gear box which distributes power to the driven components of the platform. Operation of the pump is electro-hydraulically controlled with a single switch being operable to effect forward operation of the platform drive train, and with a second switch being designed to be moved and held in place to effect and maintain the drive train in reverse.

  • Patent number: 5681117
Abstract: A bearing or bushing retainer comprises two identical, separate segments which are generally c-shaped so as to permit the segments to each be removed from a cylindrical split plastic bearing mounted on a reel toothbar once bolts holding the two segments together are released and the segments moved axially relative to each other so as to disengage respective axially extending tabs of the segments from gaps defined between opposite ends of the segments. The segments have a relatively heavy cross section and are made of sintered powdered metal of relatively high carbon content, and are heat treated thereby resulting in a part having a long wear life and having a natural lubricity resulting in the extension of the wear lives of the retainer and of the bearing retained thereby.

  • Patent number: 4058252
Abstract: An automatic sample preparation apparatus including a centrifuge apparatus for centrifugally separating the lighter components of a sample mixture from its heavier components and an automatic sample loading apparatus which utilizes centrifugal forces to load the sample into a centrifuge drum through an aperture in the bottom end of the drum. A separation chamber in the drum has a truncated conical interior side wall with a trap or cavity therein ringing the wall. The centrifuge drum is spun to force the heavier components into the cavity while the lighter components are forced up the conical interior side wall portion. Means are provided to remove one or both of the components from the separation chamber while the centrifuge drum is spinning to prevent the sample from pouring out of the drum through the bottom aperture. In one embodiment, one of the components is aspirated from the separation chamber by a vacuum source coupled to the interior of the chamber through the hollow shaft on which the drum is spun.

  • Patent number: 4016380
Abstract: A turn signal mechanism which is configured in a pie-shaped modular segment adapted to mount into the steering column of an automotive vehicle from one side thereof. The mechanism may be removed radially from the steering column for replacement or repair without the necessity for removing other steering column components. All the operative components are mounted in a modular housing which is affixed on one side of the steering shaft and requires no disruption of the shaft for removal and replacement of the module.

  • Patent number: 3985508
Abstract: Apparatus for automatically performing multiple chemical analyses of a plurality of liquid specimens. The apparatus comprises apparatus for loading a plurality of test samples from each specimen into a row of reaction vessels. As the reaction vessels are transported to a determinating apparatus, other apparatus adds reagents to preselected ones of the reaction vessels a predetermined time before the reaction vessels reach the determinating apparatus. In particular, each of the several sample containers initially containing the specimens is transported in a track or the like in parallel with the one of the several rows of reaction vessels containing the test samples from the specimen toward the determinating apparatus. Microswitches engage each of the sample containers along the way, enabling the reagent adding apparatus to add selected reagents to the parallel row of reaction vessels.
