    Abstract: An image capturing device with a voice command controlling function is provided. The image capturing device includes a voice command input unit and a voice command controlling chip. The voice command input unit receives standard voice commands and common voice commands. The voice command controlling chip determines if a common voice command satisfies a predetermined voice command identification standard, by comparing characteristics of the common voice command with characteristics of each of the standard voice commands. If the common voice command satisfies the predetermined voice command identification standard, the voice command controlling chip generates a controlling command according to the common voice command and drives an image capturing unit to perform a corresponding operation according to the command. A related method is also provided.

    Abstract: An exemplary electronic device includes a fingerprint sensing unit, a signal converting unit, a processor, and a storage unit. The fingerprint sensing unit, the signal converting unit, the processor, and the storage unit are electrically connected in series. The fingerprint sensing unit includes a touch sensing module for obtaining a voltage signal via elastic deformation. The signal converting unit converts the voltage signal into digital fingerprint data. The processor computes and processes the digital fingerprint data to generate corresponding fingerprint characteristic information of a user, and controls the storage unit to compare the fingerprint characteristic information of the user with the fingerprint characteristic information prestored in the storage unit to determine whether to start up the electronic device into a normal working state or not.

    Abstract: A direction controlling system and method of an electronic device provides a fingerprint identification device for a user to touch. The electronic device captures a fingerprint template image of a finger. When the finger moves on the fingerprint identification device, the electronic device captures a sequence of fingerprint images of the finger. Furthermore, the electronic device detects a directional movement of the fingerprint according to the sequence of fingerprint images and the fingerprint template image. A scroll bar of the electronic device is controlled to move according to the movement direction and a movement distance calculated by the electronic device.
