  • Publication number: 20240139417
Abstract: The application describes syringe carriers for medicament delivery devices such as autoinjectors. In particular, a medicament delivery device sub-assembly is described. The medicament delivery device sub-assembly has a housing extending along a longitudinal axis from a proximal end to a distal end, the housing has a tubular section with an internal surface facing towards the axis and an external surface facing away from the axis, wherein the housing has an aperture extending through the tubular section from the internal surface to the external surface; and a housing cover assembly attached in the aperture of the housing, the housing cover assembly being configured to secure a syringe in place relative to the housing.

  • Publication number: 20240115808
Abstract: Syringe carriers for medicament delivery devices are described where a medicament delivery device sub-assembly extending along a longitudinal axis from a proximal end to a distal end is described having a tubular housing, a tubular syringe carrier inside the housing and a syringe inside the syringe carrier. The syringe includes a needle shield and a medicament container comprising a shoulder. The housing includes a flexible arm extending in the axial direction relative to the longitudinal axis, the flexible arm having an inwardly extending protrusion arranged in a gap between the shoulder and the needle shield. The syringe carrier has a proximal portion and a distal portion, and the proximal portion is arranged adjacent to the flexible arm of the housing so that movement of the flexible arm of the housing in a radial direction relative to the longitudinal axis is restricted by the proximal portion of the syringe carrier.

  • Publication number: 20220387719
Abstract: A start of medicament delivery notification mechanism is presented where the notification mechanism is positioned within a housing of a medical device and includes a rear cap secured to a distal end of the housing, where the rear cap has a hollow tubular housing extending proximally from a distal end of the rear cap such that the tubular housing is cantilevered within and rotatably fixed relative to the housing and is parallel with a longitudinal axis of the housing. A rotator rotatably is positioned around the tubular housing such that rotator can rotate relative to the tubular housing from a first position to a second position, where the second position coincides with an initiation of a delivery of a dose of medicament. The rotator further has a contact surface that engages with and subsequently disengages from a corresponding contact surface located on the rear cap or on an inside surface of the housing.
