Abstract: A transistor includes a first semiconductor layer, a second semiconductor layer, a semiconductor nanosheet, a gate electrode and source and drain electrodes. The semiconductor nanosheet is physically connected to the first semiconductor layer and the second semiconductor layer. The gate electrode wraps around the semiconductor nanosheet. The source and drain electrodes are disposed at opposite sides of the gate electrode. The first semiconductor layer surrounds the source electrode, the second semiconductor layer surrounds the drain electrode, and the semiconductor nanosheet is disposed between the source and drain electrodes.

Abstract: An optoelectronic package and a method for producing the optoelectronic package are provided. The optoelectronic package includes a carrier, a photonic device, a first encapsulant and a second encapsulant. The photonic device is disposed on the carrier. The first encapsulant covers the carrier and is disposed around the photonic device. The second encapsulant covers the first encapsulant and the photonic device. The first encapsulant has a topmost position and a bottommost position, and the topmost position is not higher than a surface of the photonic device.

Abstract: A backup management system includes a backup management device and a number of electronic devices. Each of the electronic devices is in communication with the backup management device and with each other through a network. Each of the electronic devices includes at least one virtual machine. When one of the electronic devices needs to back up the at least one virtual machine, the electronic device sends a backup request to the backup management device. The backup management device instructs the electronic device to back up the at least one virtual machine to one of the other electronic devices.

Abstract: A method for migrating a virtual machine (VM) includes: receiving a migrate request to migrate a VM of a first cloud node, obtaining configuration information of the VM of the first node and a target address, and generating a parameter file including the configuration information of the VM; obtaining system information of the VM of the first node, and creating an image file according to the system information; packeting the parameter file and the image file of the VM of the first node to obtain a packet file, and storing the packet file into a storage server of the first cloud node; transmitting the packet file to a storage server of a second cloud node according to the target address; and creating a new VM in a platform server of the second cloud node according to the configuration information and restoring the image file to the created VM.

Abstract: A backup management system includes a backup manager and a number of agents. Each of the agents is in communication with the backup manager and with each other through a network. Each of the agents includes at least one virtual machine (VM). Any agent of the number of agents can send a backup request to the backup manager when the agent needs to back up the at least one VM. The backup manager can instruct the agent how to back up the at least one VM to another agent of the number of agents.

Abstract: A method for installing a guest operating system on a virtual machine (VM) includes: providing a management interface provided for a user to input or select a command for a VM, and transmitting the command input or selected by the user to a communication module associated with the VM; starting up the VM when the command is a startup command; running a cloudboot system of the VM when the VM is starting up; and downloading an installation file from the server and executing the installation file to install the guest operating system corresponding to the installation file on the VM when the command is a download command.

Abstract: A method for managing creation and distribution of templates of virtual machines through a cloud system includes a template creator creating the template, and a template user purchasing and installing the template. The template creator creates the template by registering an account, inputting basic information of the template, purchasing a virtual machine or using a virtual machine of the template creator to create the template, creating a template design, creating the template on the virtual machine according to the template design, and uploading the template to a template library. The template user purchases and installs the template by purchasing the virtual machine, obtaining identification information of the template and of the corresponding Internet data center from an order form, obtaining a download link of the template according to the identification information, downloading the template to the corresponding Internet data center, and installing the template on the purchased virtual machine.

Abstract: A method for managing application services is applied in a server. The server can communicate with at least one cloud service platform. Each cloud service platform includes a number of signal transmission APIs. The server includes a storage unit for storing at least one application service managing system and a virtual facilities operating system (VFOS). Each application service managing system has an API layer defining a plurality of request transmission APIs. The method includes: transmitting a request initiated by a user to one corresponding application service managing system by a call to the request transmission API included in the request, generating a control signal corresponding to the called request transmission API, determining a signal transmission API corresponding to the called request transmission API, and transmitting the control signal to the corresponding cloud service platform by a call to the determined signal transmission API.

Abstract: A method for starting up a virtual machine (VM) includes: receiving a startup command from a server; determining whether the VM has installed a cloudboot system; obtaining an installation software for installing the cloudboot system and executing the installation software to install the cloudboot system if the VM has not installed a cloudboot system; starting up the cloudboot system to determine a virtual platform supporting the VM, and determine a virtual driver file corresponding to the determined virtual platform, and load the virtual driver file; determining whether there is one guest operating system is stored in the VM; and starting up the guest operating system and causing the VM to enter an operating environment of the guest operating system if there is one guest operating system is stored in the VM.

Abstract: An application service sharing method is applied between at least two servers. Each server includes an agent platform, a VFOS, and at least one application managing unit. The method includes the following steps of providing a user interface displaying all application services provided by one server, for an authorized user of another server which requests to share application services from the server to select at least one application service to be shared. Generating a shared resource having the selected application service, and generating registered information of the shared resource comprising a URL address and authentication information. Transmitting the registered information of the shared resource to the server which requests to share application services.

Abstract: A method for controlling data transmission includes: controlling a first data transmission controlling device to transmit a conversation request to a second data transmission controlling device. The method can establish a transmission channel between the two data transmission controlling devices when the second data transmission controlling device accepts the conversation request. The method can establish a plurality of link lines on the transmission channel according to each network accessing path provided by a network connection unit of the first data transmission controlling device. The method can receive data to be transmitted, and divide each data packet of the data to be transmitted to a plurality of sub-packets according to an amount of the link lines of the transmission channel. In additional, the method can transmit the sub-packets of each data packet to a receiver respectively via the plurality of link lines.
