    Abstract: A method of image reconstruction for a cross-modal communication system is disclosed. The method reconstructs a damaged, lost, or delayed image signal during transmission by using complete haptic signals received by a receiving end in the cross-modal communication system, and further constructs a cross-modal interaction network with reference to an attention mechanism, thus solving the limitation of the conventional generation model that it can only be trained on paired samples. An image reconstruction device for a cross-modal communication system is also disclosed. By fully utilizing semantic correlation between different-modality data and realizing cross-modal generation from haptic signals to image signals for unpaired data, the present invention overcomes the difficulty in acquiring haptic-image signal pairs in the practical cross-modal communication system, and significantly improves the quality and class accuracy of generated image signals.

    Abstract: A method for conducting structural fatigue life testing of a bearing, in which a cam embedded in the bearing under test generates a rotational dynamic radial expansion and transmits the expansion through the bearing to a load collar compactly mounted on the periphery of the bearing, forcing the load collar to deform synchronously with the expansion, thereby applying, together with the cam, a rotational dynamic strain pressure load, mainly in the radial direction in both inward and outward directions, to the bearing, based on the elasticity of the load collar itself, as a test load for the structural fatigue life testing of the bearing. Based on the above method, the present invention also provides a holding mechanism that provides a rotation-resistant support for the load collar and a bearing rotation test rig capable of assembling the holding mechanism.

For CA, RTD reflects the entire time difference between carriers caused by a Timing Alignment Error (TAE) and propagation delay difference between slots aligned at transmission. For DC, RTD is between the closest slot boundaries and reflects only slot boundary misalignment without considering the slot index.

An effective application availability may be calculated by taking a current application availability and subtracting it by an availability loss from a requested operation. The effective application availability may then be compared to the safe application availability limit in order to determine whether to permit the operation to be performed at the requested time, or whether to request that the operation be attempted again at some later time.
