  • Publication number: 20230153449
Abstract: A system and method for method for providing access to a resource includes receiving, from a user device of a user, a request to access the resource and an access token, the access token identifying an access role associated with the user and the request identifying a task to be performed on the resource; retrieving the access role from the access token; examining a role-to-permissions map to identify one or more permission available for the access role; determining, based on the available permissions for the access role that the user is authorized to perform the task on the resource; determining, based on the access role and the available permissions that the user has permission to access the resource managed by an object model; and upon determining that the user is authorized to perform the task on the resource and the user has permission to access the resource managed by the object model, permitting the user device of the user to access the resource to perform the task.

  • Publication number: 20220345014
Abstract: A multi-degree-of-freedom spherical motor includes a primary frame, a secondary frame, a tertiary frame, a terminal rotor, a first rotating shaft, a second rotating shaft, a third rotating shaft, permanent magnets and electromagnetic coils. The electromagnetic coils are arranged on an inner surface of the primary frame. Two sides at a top portion of the primary frame are symmetrically connected to the secondary frame through the first rotating shaft. The tertiary frame is arranged inside the secondary frame in a non-mechanical contact manner. The terminal rotor and the tertiary frame are connected through the third rotating shaft. The permanent magnets are arranged on one side of the terminal rotor close to the primary frame. The secondary frame and the tertiary frame are connected through the second rotating shaft. The first rotating shaft, the second rotating shaft and the third rotating shaft are perpendicular to each other.

  • Patent number: 10497002
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to identifying geographic areas that satisfy a set of multiple different criteria. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to a user interface that allows a user, or a collaborating group of users to specify a set of multiple different criteria associated with various features of a geographic map. In response to a user, or a collaborating group of users entering a set of multiple different criteria, a geographic map is generated that includes identified areas that satisfy the multiple different criteria.

  • Patent number: 9405377
Abstract: In many computing scenarios, a device comprises at least one sensor, and is configured to recognize a gesture performed by a user according to the sensor output of the sensor, and to perform a particular action upon recognizing the gesture. However, many devices are preconfigured with such gestures, and the recognition is specific to the sensors of the device, and is not specific to the manner in which a particular user performs the gesture. Presented herein are techniques for enabling a device to recognize a new gesture by monitoring the sensor output of any sensors provided by the device while the user performs the gesture, optionally requesting repeated gesture performances until reaching a recognition confidence. Once trained to recognize the gesture according to the sensor outputs of the particular sensors of the device, the device may subsequently recognize the gesture performed by the user and execute an associated action.
