  • Publication number: 20200140212
Abstract: Provided are a rolling member and a transport device. The rolling member comprises a rolling shaft (01) and rolling wheels (02) fixed to two ends of the rolling shaft (01). A flexible band (03) is sleeved onto a rolling surface of the rolling wheel (02). A first engagement structure (121) is provided at the rolling surface of the rolling wheel (01). A second engagement structure (131) is provided at a surface of the flexible band (03) facing the rolling surface of the rolling wheel (02). The first engagement structure (121) engages with the second engagement structure (131). The rolling member and the transport device are used to transport a glass substrate, and are capable of reducing misalignment between the rolling wheel and the flexible band.

  • Patent number: 10454840
Abstract: System and techniques for transmission controller protocol (TCP) receiver controller interruption mitigation are described herein. At a receiver device, a physical link degradation indication of a physical link may be obtained. In response to the physical link degradation indication, a transmission queue may be measured to determine bufferbloat that is a result of a temporary blockage of the physical link. The receiver device may then transmit, to a second device on the physical link, a TCP receive window size update that is smaller than a previous TCP receive window size.

  • Patent number: 10440604
Abstract: System and techniques for uplink congestion mitigation are described herein. A packet acknowledgement (ACK) rate may be measured in a transmission queue to detect when the ACK rate exceeds a threshold. In response to the ACK rate exceeding the threshold, ACKs may be removed from the transmission queue in accordance with a time-based uplink reduction function. ACKs that remain in the transmission queue after ACKs are removed in accordance with the time-based uplink reduction function may then be transmitted.

  • Publication number: 20180302333
Abstract: Due to massive available spectrum in the millimeter wave (mmWave) bands, cellular systems in these frequencies may provide orders of magnitude greater capacity than networks in conventional lower frequency bands. However, due to high susceptibility to blocking, mmWave links can be extremely intermittent in quality. This combination of high peak throughputs and intermittency can cause significant challenges in end-to-end transport-layer mechanisms such as TCP, such as the challenging problem of bufferbloat. Specifically, with current buffering and congestion control mechanisms, high throughput-high variable links can lead to excessive buffers incurring long latency. A dynamic receive window approach addresses the problem of bufferbloat.
