The cells maintain the pluripotency of stem cells to a certain extent, exhibit gene and protein expression of cells from three germ layers, endoderm, mesoderm, and ectoderm, during gastrulation, and have characteristics consistent with those of cells during gastrulation, so that key characteristics of cells during gastrulation can be well reproduced. A three-dimensional gastruloid model that can mimic gastrulation can be constructed in mice or in vitro by using the stem cell line, and key biological events can be partially reproduced, so that key characteristics of post-implantation embryos during gastrulation can be well reproduced.
