    Abstract: A method for controlling heating of a motor and a related controller are provided. The method includes: obtaining a heating target temperature value; determining, based on the heating target temperature value, a heating motor that needs to generate heat from a plurality of motors of a multi-motor drive system and heat generation power of the heating motor; and sending a first control instruction to the heating motor. The first control instruction is used to respectively input harmonic currents to three phases of windings of the motor, so that the heating motor generates heat based on the heat generation power. According to the application, the heating target temperature value is obtained, and the quantity of heating motors can be flexibly controlled to generate sufficient heat generation power.

    Abstract: A radial flux motor, a powertrain, and a vehicle. The radial flux motor includes a rotor and a motor shaft. The rotor includes a plurality of magnetic steel slots and a plurality of magnetic steels. The magnetic steel slot penetrates through the rotor. Each magnetic steel slot is configured to accommodate one or more magnetic steels. A surface that is of at least one magnetic steel and that is spaced from a slot wall of the magnetic steel slot includes a plurality of primary grooves. The plurality of primary grooves are sequentially arranged at intervals in a length direction of the magnetic steel. A groove cutting position is selected based on eddy current loss density distribution of the magnetic steel, so that an eddy current loss of the magnetic steel in the radial flux motor can be effectively reduced.

In addition, in each pole of each phase of the flat wire winding structure, a stator slot wound with the first part and a stator slot wound with the second part are staggered by y1 slots. The pitch y is less than a pole pitch y0. In this way, the flat wire winding structure is a short-pitch winding, and further, when the motor runs, good torque fluctuation suppression effect is achieved.

    Abstract: A controller for a drive motor and a related device thereof. In response to that a temperature of the power battery is greater than or equal to a preset battery temperature, the controller controls an output current of the inverter circuit, so that the drive motor outputs torque to drive a wheel. In response to that a temperature of the power battery is less than a preset battery temperature, the controller adjusts an output current of the inverter circuit based on a result of comparison between a voltage of the power battery and a preset battery voltage, to control the output current of the inverter circuit to increase heat generated by the three-phase stator winding of the drive motor. The power battery may be heated by using the heat generated by the drive motor, thereby reducing costs.

    Abstract: An electric drive system and a heating method. The electric drive system includes an inverter circuit, a direct current-direct current conversion circuit, and a controller. An input end of the inverter circuit is connected to an input end of the electric drive system, and an output end of the inverter circuit is connected to three-phase motor windings of an electric excitation synchronous motor. An input end of the direct current-direct current conversion circuit is connected to the input end of the electric drive system, and an output end of the direct current-direct current conversion circuit is connected to an excitation winding of the electric excitation synchronous motor. In this solution, a heating apparatus does not need to be disposed when the power battery pack is heated, thereby reducing costs and saving space.
