Abstract: A single AI system for monitoring and controlling in real time performance of the production area. It connects production elements designed to be connected and embracing, as well, the non-connectable ones, boosting productivity and product quality in a safer workplace. The AI system includes information extracting device for capturing physical information from the production components and convert the physical information into digital information, gateways to send the digital information to the digital environment of the IoT for computing and to be shared in a cloud storage, and an electronic processor using AI algorithms of the digital environment configured to process the shared digital information and information associated with a production task in the production line stored in a manufacturing execution system (MES), and to generate actions based on the processed information, the AI algorithms being configured to send the generated actions to the physical production environment or to external systems.
