  • Patent number: 5106199
Abstract: A mixer tool (8) for an ice-cream maker is provided which is insertable centrally into a cylindrical container (1) of the ice-cream maker and is operable there in rotation and which has at least one scraper (12, 13) projecting from a central shaft (6) and acting with the walls of cold cartridge 3 through its scraper edges (16, 17) and which also has at least one stirrer (14, 15) projecting from a central shaft (6), effective at least in the vicinity of the container wall (7), the stirrer effecting in the container flow at least directed from bottom to top of an ice-cream mixture filled into the latter. The stirrer also has at its free upper end close to the container wall a knife-shaped scraper (20, 21) projecting over the stirrer and acting together with the container wall to prevent formation of ice cream deposits above the stirrer.

  • Patent number: 5084056
Abstract: A depilation apparatus is provided which comprises at least one pair of depilation rollers (3, 4; 5, 6) arranged at the location of an opening (2) in the apparatus for access to their circumferential surfaces, which rollers are rotatably supported, which are rotatable in opposite directions, and which cooperate circumferentially with one another, the depilation rollers being supported to project freely with one of their end portions and the opening in the apparatus at least partly exposing the freely projecting end portions of the depilation rollers.

  • Patent number: 4712386
Abstract: A discoid cold cartridge filled with a latent heat storage medium, is formed from at least two parts joined together, of which one part includes the discoid main wall facing the scraper and stirrer tool and the other part of a trough-shaped base. The discoid main wall serving to act together with the scraper and stirrer tool has an inherently stable, curved shape and at least one wall of the base is reversibly adaptable to the change in volume of the latent heat storage medium in phase transition.

  • Patent number: 4612731
Abstract: Apparatus for sharpening knives, scissors, and the like comprises a housing forming an enclosure having two oppositely disposed walls each provided with an opening, such openings being coaxially aligned. A motor is mounted on the outer side of one of these oppositely disposed walls, the motor having a shaft extending through the opening in the one wall into the enclosure. A second shaft extends through the opening in the other oppositely disposed wall. A grinding wheel is fastened to the end of the second shaft positioned outside the enclosure. Provision is made for connecting the motor shaft to the other end of the second shaft to rotatably drive the second shaft and to enable axial movement of the motor shaft and the second shaft with respect to each other. A pair of axially spaced radial flanges is mounted on the second shaft within the enclosure.
