  • Patent number: 11969397
Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating transplantation rejection or a transplantation rejection disease, comprising a novel compound and a calcineurin inhibitor. A co-administration of the present invention 1) reduces the activity of pathogenic Th1 cells or Th17 cells, 2) increases the activity of Treg cells, 3) has an inhibitory effect against side effects, such as tissue damage, occurring in the sole administration thereof, 4) inhibits various pathogenic pathways, 5) inhibits the cell death of inflammatory cells, and 6) increases the activity of mitochondria, in an in vivo or in vitro allogenic model, a transplantation rejection disease model, a skin transplantation model, and a liver-transplanted patient, and thus inhibits transplantation rejection along with mitigating side effects possibly occurring in the administration of a conventional immunosuppressant alone.

  • Patent number: 7680036
Abstract: Provided is a network resource provisioning method for bandwidth guarantee per flow in a differentiated service Internet in which bandwidth needed for each flow is individually requested. The method includes setting an optimum path between a source node and a destination node based on a request for traffic for a specific period of time; performing static provisioning in which bandwidth is allocated to the optimum path according to a service class thereof; determining whether all of the bandwidth allocated to the optimum path by performing static provisioning are used up, and accepting connection admission according to the determination result; and when connection admission is not accepted, performing dynamic provisioning in which additional bandwidth is allocated to the optimum path based on a request for traffic from a new incoming flow. Accordingly, it is possible to efficiently provide a quality-guaranteed service by accepting a request for bandwidth per flow.

  • Patent number: 7652989
Abstract: In the adaptive connection admission control method of the present invention, a corresponding ingress edge node performs connection admission control for a new connection within the amount of bandwidth initially allocated to each of paths between the ingress and egress edge nodes. The amount of remaining bandwidth allocated to a specific path Pr is compared with an amount of bandwidth required for a call requesting new connection setup input to the corresponding ingress edge node. The amount of additional bandwidth to be requested from the bandwidth broker is predicted when the amount of the remaining bandwidth does not satisfy the amount of bandwidth required for the connection setup requesting call. The ingress edge node requests additional bandwidth from the bandwidth broker on the basis of the predicted amount of the additional bandwidth, changing bandwidth information of the corresponding path Pr, and performing connection admission control.

  • Patent number: 7274654
Abstract: A method for sharing a backup path in a MultiProtocol Label Switching (MPLS) network, a label switching router (LSR) for setting a backup path in an MPLS network, a system for setting a backup path in an MPLS network, and a recording medium therefor are provided. The method includes the steps of acquiring link configuration information of links included in a working path when the working path is set between a source node and a destination node, and allocating bands for a backup path using the link configuration information when the backup path is set between the source node and the destination node. In the method, an optimal band is allocated to each of links included in a backup path by calculating a band using information, which is obtained during setting of a working path, about at least one other working path sharing links with the working path when the backup path is set, thereby efficiently managing network resources without wasting them.

  • Patent number: 7006504
Abstract: A VC merging apparatus and a method of establishing or terminating connection as well as a recording medium storing instructions for embodying the same method are disclosed. The method of establishing/terminating connection includes the steps of; a) determining a kind of connection with reference to connection parameters according to an order of connection establishment or termination from a central controller; b) establishing/terminating a multi point-to-point connection based on ingress/egress connection labels, if the kind of the connection is a VC merging connection; and c) establishing/terminating a point-to-point connection based on the ingress/egress connection labels, if the kind of the connection is a non-VC merging connection.
