Publication number: 20240154516Abstract: A soft-switching Phase-Shift Full-Bridge (PSFB) converter system may include a transformer comprising a primary side and a secondary side. Phase-leading circuitry and phase-lagging circuitry may be located on the primary side of the transformer. The phase leading a phase lagging circuitry may include one or more bridge switches. The system may further include clamping circuitry coupled to the secondary side of the transformer. The clamping circuitry configurable to, when in an active clamping mode, short the secondary side of the transformer. An inductance may be included on the primary side of the transformer to collect and store energy from an input source when the secondary side of the transformer is shorted. The energy stored in the inductance may be used to enable soft-switching of the bridge switches in the phase-lagging circuitry during a dead time or a circulating time of the bridge switches in the phase-leading circuitry.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 8, 2022Publication date: May 9, 2024Inventors: Siyuan Chen, Michael George Negrete

Patent number: 11972281Abstract: A first intermediate representation of a first portion of a source code implementing an application and a second intermediate representation of a second portion of the source code is received by a processing device. The first intermediate representation and the second intermediate representation is merged, at run-time, into a merged intermediate representation, wherein the first intermediate representation includes a reference to a function in the second intermediate representation. An execution flow transfer instruction within the merged intermediate representation is identified based on a run-time value of a parameter of the application. The execution flow transfer instruction references the function. A set of executable instructions implementing the function is identified within the merged intermediate representation. The execution flow transfer instruction is replaced with a copy of the set of executable instructions implementing the function.Type: GrantFiled: March 7, 2022Date of Patent: April 30, 2024Assignee: NVIDIA CorporationInventors: Michael Murphy, Shelton George Dsouza, Shandeep Nagori, Thibaut Lutz

Publication number: 20240127936Abstract: A computer implemented method for generating personalized responsive assistance for a person needing assistance (PNA) is disclosed. The method begins with the system receiving a PNA's contact data and a trust group manager's (TGM) contact data. The system then sends a request to the TGM for association of TGM's device with PNA's device. The system then receives approval and proceeds with storing an indicator of the association of the devices. The TGM then sends the system a person providing assistance's (PPA) data. The system will then send an invite to the PPA, to join a trust group associated with the PNA. After the PPA accepts the invite to join the PPA group, the system will receive a request for an audio/visual connection between the PNA and the PPA. As the PNA is in need of assistance, an audio/visual connection will be permitted allowing the PPA to help the PNA.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 28, 2023Publication date: April 18, 2024Inventors: Douglas George Towne, John Medcalf, Michael Wilhelm Hartman, Corey Saur

Patent number: 11960832Abstract: Machine learning, artificial intelligence, and other computer-implemented methods are used to identify various semantically important chunks in documents, automatically label them with appropriate datatypes and semantic roles, and use this enhanced information to assist authors and to support downstream processes. Chunk locations, datatypes, and semantic roles can often be automatically determined from what is here called “context”, to wit, the combination of their formatting, structure, and content; those of adjacent or nearby content; overall patterns of occurrence in a document, and similarities of all these things across documents (mainly but not exclusively among documents in the same document set).Type: GrantFiled: April 20, 2022Date of Patent: April 16, 2024Assignee: Docugami, Inc.Inventors: Andrew Paul Begun, Steven DeRose, Taqi Jaffri, Luis Marti Orosa, Michael B. Patent number: 11949406Abstract: A driver can be configured to provide sensed phase currents as feedback to a controller to indicate the output currents from each phase of a switch mode power supply (SMPS). The driver can be configured to temperature compensate the sensed currents in one of two ways. If a temperature sensor is directly coupled to the driver, then the driver may be configured to temperature compensate the sensed currents from each phase based on a temperature measurement made by the temperature sensor. If a temperature sensor is not directly coupled to the driver, then the driver may be configured to temperature compensate the sensed current from each phase based on a temperature signal received from a bus coupled to the driver. The bus can communicate the temperature signal so that multiple drivers can utilize one temperature sensor.Type: GrantFiled: February 16, 2022Date of Patent: April 2, 2024Assignee: SEMICONDUCTOR COMPONENTS INDUSTRIES, LLCInventors: Paul J.
