  • Publication number: 20220215742
Abstract: Systems and methods for an emergency response system (ERS) to provide an augmented reality overlay on a real-world scene through the heads-up display (HUD) of an emergency responder. In addition to displaying information known to the ERS, an emergency responder terminal of the ERS can detect propagated signals from devices not registered with the ERS. The source and location of the propagated signal can be determined, and a generic display object can be generated representing the location of the propagated signal. The generic display object can be displayed on the HUD when the location of the source of the propagated signal falls within the field of view of a camera component of the emergency responder terminal.

  • Patent number: 10661319
Abstract: An assemblage of containers holding a porous medium is established in a landfill in fluid communication with a leachate drainage layer. A gas extraction well is drilled through the waste matter layers of the landfill into the assemblage. The assemblage augments gas flow throughout the landfill to the gas extraction well and drainage of leachate percolating through the landfill to the leachate drainage layer.

  • Patent number: 7684934
Abstract: A method for reproducibly analyzing mass spectra from different sample sources is provided. The method deconvolutes the complex spectra by collapsing multiple peaks of different molecular mass that originate from the same molecular fragment into a single peak. The differences in molecular mass are apparent differences caused by different charge states of the fragment and/or different metal ion adducts and/or reactant products of one or more of the charge states. The deconvoluted spectrum is compared to a library of mass spectra acquired from samples of known identity to unambiguously determine the identity of one or more components of the sample undergoing analysis.

  • Publication number: 20060184381
Abstract: A method and system for matching ready-to-act consumers and pre-qualified service providers are described. Consumer-to-Business commerce transactions can be facilitated by pre-qualifying both consumers and service providers and matching a consumer who selects a single, pre-qualified service provider. For example, according to one exemplary embodiment of the invention, using information provided by the consumer, such as the consumer's address, type of work requested, etc., a matching system can determine whether a single, pre-qualified home service provider chosen by the consumer matches or meets the service need of the consumer and other criteria of the matching system. If the matching system determines that the consumer and the consumer's single, selected home service provider are not a match, then the consumer may permit his or her service request to be matched with the consumer lead criteria of one or more un-known or not previously selected service providers relative to the consumer.
