  • Patent number: 10971909
Abstract: Interchangeable driver systems including at least a driver and a receptacle are disclosed. The receptacle provides a compartment, space, or other connection point for a power input as well as connecting structure that releasably and interchangeably connects to the driver. The driver has complementary electrical and mechanical connecting structure. The electrical and mechanical connections between the driver and the receptacle are such that when a mechanical connection between them is made, an electrical connection is also made. The receptacle may take the form of an enclosure that surrounds a substantial portion of the driver, or it may take the form of a short base with a socket that receives a connecting portion of the driver.

  • Publication number: 20200370551
Abstract: A variable displacement vane pump is described. The pump includes a control chamber provided between a housing and a control slide. A pressure-controlled relief valve is in fluid communication with the outlet path and moves to block or unblock a relief port based on output pressure of the lubricant. A feedback channel fluidly connects the control chamber to an inlet path of the pump. The feedback channel further connects to a control port that is connected to a main control valve. The relief valve and control valve are distinct and not fluidly connected. The relief valve moves once the pressure in the outlet path exceeds a predetermined amount, opening the relief port, and thus delivers a portion of the output lubricant to the control chamber via the relief port, thereby pressurizing the control chamber and reducing eccentricity of the pump by displacing the control slide.

  • Publication number: 20200329072
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve utilizing network threat information to manage one or more security devices or policies of a communication network. The security system may receive threat intelligence data or information associated with potential threats to a communications network and process the threat intelligence data to determine one or more configurations to apply to security devices of a network. The system may then generate a rule or action to respond to the identified attack, such as a firewall rule for a firewall device to block traffic from the source of the attack. The threat intelligence information may include a confidence score indicating a calculated confidence in the identification of the malicious communications, which may be utilized by the system to determine the type of action taken on the security devices of the network in response to the information or data.

  • Publication number: 20200195508
Abstract: Systems and methods for managing network devices include performing clustering operations for network devices based on attributes of the network devices. By comparing the results of subsequent clustering operations, changes in network device attributes can be readily identified and any network devices for which attributes have changed may be subject to further investigation or remedial action (e.g., blocking traffic to/from the network device). Clustering may also be used to conduct an inventory of network devices by identifying groups of network devices that have similar attributes.

  • Publication number: 20200186499
Abstract: Systems and methods for implementing filters within computer networks include obtaining blocklist data that includes blocklist entries for a network. Each of the blocklist entries includes one or more network traffic attributes for identifying traffic to be blocked. In response to receiving the blocklist data, a filter based on a common network traffic attribute shared between at least two of the plurality of blocklist entries is generated. The filter is then deployed to a network device within the network such that the filter may be implemented at the network device to block corresponding traffic.

  • Publication number: 20200153950
Abstract: An enclosure and a method for forming an enclosure are disclosed. The enclosure may be formed from metal, such as aluminum, and further include a non-metal portion allowing for transmission and receipt of electromagnetic waves. The non-metal portion may be interlocked to the enclosure and in particular, to a region within the enclosure including a first material having a relatively high strength and stiffness compared to the non-metal portion. Interlocking means may include forming dovetail cuts into the enclosure to receive the non-metal portion, a hole or cavity drilled into the enclosure which includes internal threads, and a rod inserted into the first material to provide a tension to the non-metal portion. Methods of assembling internal components using anodization are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10621948
Abstract: Various techniques can be used to evaluate and reduce myopiagenic effects of electronic displays are disclosed. In one example, uncorrected image data corresponding to at least one uncorrected frame is assessed by identifying pixels having a red hue in the uncorrected frame(s). Modified image data is provided based on the uncorrected image data and the assessment. The modified image data corresponds to at least one corrected frame corresponding to the at least one uncorrected frame. Corrected frames are displayed, where one or more red-hued pixels in a corrected frame has a reduced degree of red saturation compared to the corresponding pixel in the uncorrected frame. The degree of red saturation in the red-hued pixels in the corrected frame is reduced based on a respective location of the pixels in the corrected frame.
