  • Publication number: 20240117922
Abstract: The disclosed vehicle stands have a base, a top plate, and a mechanical stop on the top plate that hold a vehicle in a secure, suspended position above a surface, such as the ground or a floor. The top plate can be removable from the base. The base has two legs that extend away from the top plate. The top plate can be flat or contoured to compliment a shape of a vehicle resting upon it. The top plate can include additional securing elements, such as a friction that on a surface that contacts a suspended vehicle and a locking mechanism that attaches to the suspended vehicle. Multiple vehicle stands can be used together. Two of the multiple stands can be connected by a cross-bar that extends under the vehicle as it is suspended above the surface by the two respective top plates.

  • Patent number: 10869107
Abstract: A content distribution system provides access to supplemental content (e.g., social media shares attributable to characters) based on progress of a content consumer in a narrative presentation. The narrative presentation comprises a set of narrative segments that the content consumer may experience using a set of instructions stored on a content consumer device. The content distribution system may determine a current point in time of the content consumer in experiencing the narrative presentation and, as a result of the current point determined, provide access to supplemental content related to the narrative presentation. The supplemental content to which the content consumer is provided access may include a social media instance comprised of social media content. The composition of the social media instance may be based at least in part on the current point in time of the content consumer in experiencing the narrative presentation.

  • Patent number: 10832187
Abstract: A device may evaluate first data to identify a plurality of users, where each user, of the plurality of users, is assigned to complete a portion of a group task. The device may evaluate the first data to select a first user, of the plurality of users, for completion of a particular portion of the group task based on a first set of decision criteria. The device may provide, to the first user, information identifying the particular portion of the group task. The device may receive second data relating to the particular portion of the group task after providing information identifying the particular portion of the group task. The device may evaluate the first data to select a second user, of the plurality of users, based on a second set of decision criteria. The device may provide, to the second user, information associated with the second data.

  • Patent number: 9595168
Abstract: A game platform can distinguishes between users in different jurisdictions, can offer eligible players the choice of playing games with the opportunity to enter sweepstakes for monetary and non-monetary rewards, and allows heterogeneous users—those eligible as well as ineligible for monetary reward—to participate in game activity as part of teams.

  • Patent number: 6428975
Abstract: The present invention provides methods of validating the sterility of compositions which contain large quantities of lipids, and especially those lipid compounds which contain quantities of bacteriocidal agents such as antibiotics. The compositions may contain quantities of phospholipids in the form of liposomes, microcrystals, or microdroplets. The methods involve dissolving the lipid composition in a diluent solution, passing the solution through a filtration device, and then incubating microbes which may be captured by the filtration device to determine whether microorganisms are present in the composition.

  • Patent number: 5723218
Abstract: The invention is a novel fluorescently labeled microparticle, where the microparticle internally incorporates at least one dipyrrometheneboron difluoride dye. Appropriate selection of substituents results in dipyrrometheneboron difluoride derivatives that, when incorporated into polymer microparticles, give the desired excitation and emission wavelengths. The spectral characteristics of the labeling dyes in liquid are not greatly changed when the dye is incorporated into the particles, and the spectral excitation and emission wavelengths are compatible with commonly used filter sets. Other embodiments of the fluorescent microparticles include additional dyes and/or bioreactive substances.
