Abstract: Gaming systems and methods configured to display, for one more of activations of the symbol displays for a play of a game, an automatic activation zone associated with the symbol displays. For the play of the game: (a) if an activator is displayed on one of the symbols displays at the automatic activation zone, the gaming system automatically activates the pot associated with that activator and thus the feature associated with that pot; and (b) if an activator is displayed on one of the symbols displays not in the automatic activation zone, the gaming system randomly determines whether to activate the pot associated with that activator and thus the feature associated with that pot. In either activation case, the activated feature can then be used for one or more subsequent activations of the symbol displays.

Abstract: Gaming systems and methods configured to independently generate, display, and provide different full and partial features in association with different activators during plays of a game. If the gaming system determines not to provide the full feature associated with a pot based on an occurrence of the activator associated with that pot, the gaming system determines whether to provide a partial feature associated with that pot. The gaming system is also configured to, for each partial feature to determine how many plays of the game to provide the partial feature for.

Abstract: The arrangement comprises a stop bar (1) formed from a cylindrical rod having a lengthwise slot therein. The stop bar (1) is secured to a fixed support within an actuator casing (7). A stop plate (15) is slidably secured in the slot and presents upper and lower stop edge portions (16, 17) for engagement with spaced limbs (23) of arm means for converting linear motion into angular motion. The position of the stop edge portions (16, 17) relative to the stop bar (1) is adjustable by means of replaceable shims (21) in the slot.

Abstract: A spring-containing device comprises a housing including a removable end plate (2). A plurality of screw-threaded tie rods (7) have nuts (28) holding the end plate (2) in assembly in the housing. A safety plate (14) is disposed within the housing at a fixed spacing from the end plate (2) but short of a movable spring-retaining plate (8) at its closes approach to the end plate (2). The safety plate (14) is fast on a shaft (15) rotatable in the end plate (2) and adapted (at 16) to be turned from outside. The safety plate (14) has keyhole-shaped openings through which the respective tie rods (7) extend and the tie rod (7) have safety collars (18) which can only pass through the keyhole-shaped openings when the safety plate (14) is in a certain angular position.

Abstract: A ball valve is provided especially for use between adjacent sections of a pipe line conducting an inflammable fluid and comprises a valve housing, a valve ball (2) in the housing and having a through passage, a trunnion in the housing projecting into a first socket in the ball, and a control shaft projecting into and drivingly engaging a second socket in the ball diametrally opposed to the first socket. A pair of annular valve seat members (4) spaced axially of the pipe line carry sealing rings (8), spring means (9) urging the seat members towards the ball. Each seat member at its end adjacent the spring means has a frusto-conical portion (11) which tapers from a shoulder (12) on the seat member towards the end face (4A) of the latter. A graphite ring (13) is fitted between the frusto-conical portion and the adjacent peripheral wall of the housing and a first spacer ring (14) is located between the graphite ring and the shoulder.
