  • Publication number: 20030183658
Abstract: A dispenser includes hair removal cream and a housing defining a reservoir, where the reservoir contains the hair removal cream. A stationary application member is coupled to the housing. The stationary application member has an external application surface and outlet walls defining one or more application apertures. The application apertures permit a controllable amount of the hair removal cream to exit the reservoir and contact the external application surface during application. By providing a stationary application member, the hair removal cream can be applied directly to the body part of interest and performance issues related to rotatable application members are avoided.

  • Patent number: 5880189
Abstract: Disclosed is a stabilizer composition effective to protect PVC resin against heat-mediated deterioration, comprising a mixture of barium and zinc salts of aliphatic C.sub.6 -C.sub.20 carboxylates and aromatic C.sub.7 -C.sub.12 carboxylates, organic triphosphites of the formula R.sub.1 OP(OR.sub.3)OR.sub.2 wherein each of R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 is C.sub.6 -C.sub.12 alkyl or phenyl, and organic acid phosphites of the formula R.sub.4 OP(OH)OR.sub.5 wherein each of R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 is C.sub.6 -C.sub.12 alkyl or phenyl, or R.sub.4 can be hydrogen. PVC film compounded with this stabilizer composition also exhibits improved wettability and adherence to water-based inks applied to such films.

  • Patent number: 4950704
Abstract: Motor vehicle components are provided having an improved stability at moderate temperatures and shaped from polyvinyl chloride resin compositions, comprising a polyvinyl chloride resin, at least one heat stabilizer in a sufficient amount to impart heat processing stability, and a .beta.-diketone in a sufficient amount to provide, after forming, stability at moderate temperatures not provided by any residual heat stabilizer, as well as polyvinyl chloride resin stabilizer compositions and polyvinyl chloride resin compositions containing such heat stabilizer compositions suitable for use in forming motor vehicle components, comprising at least one heat stabilizer and a .beta.-diketone.
