Publication number: 20240046750Abstract: A system for purchasing credits is described that includes a plurality of mobile electronic transaction terminals (ETTs), a secure gateway, a financial account server, a credit system, and authorized credits. Each of the mobile ETTs includes a display, and are configured to receive a patron input. Additionally, each of the mobile ETTs is in exclusive electronic communication with the secure gateway. At least one mobile ETT generates an electronic transaction request instruction that is used to generate an electronic transaction request, which is communicated to the financial account server. An electronic transaction approval is then received at the secure gateway from the financial account server. The secure gateway generates an authorization to dispense credits and communicates the authorization to dispense credits to the one mobile ETT. And the credit system dispenses authorized credits.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 28, 2023Publication date: February 8, 2024Inventors: Stephen L. Warner, Michael Sackrison, Michael Daly

Publication number: 20230195681Abstract: The present subject matter facilitates chaining of multiple serial peripheral interface (SPI) compliant devices without requiring a bulky clock tree. Generally, in a serial clock distribution scheme as described herein, a fixed pulse based output cock (SCLK_OUT) is synchronized with the data output (SDO) from a respective device in the chain. The SCLK_OUT signal is connected to the SPI clock input (SCLK) of the following downstream device, and SDO is connected to the data input (SDI) of the respective downstream device. This allows the SCLK from the SPI master device to propagate through a theoretically unlimited count of devices in series. The master can resynchronize the MISO data from the SDO of the last part in the chain with the SCLK_OUT signal of the last device in the chain.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 15, 2022Publication date: June 22, 2023Inventors: Gabriele Bernardinis, Michael Daly
