  • Publication number: 20190045736
Abstract: A rotary dairy cow milking platform that rotates about a rotational axis and has a plurality of pre-fabricated moulded bail floor defining modular components 1-10 and a supporting substructure 12, 13 14. Each modular component is detachable from the substructure and has been pre-formed independently of any components from the substructure. Each modular component is also totally or at least in part formed from a fibre reinforced resin based composite material. The modular components each have a mould defined rigid exoskeleton 34 wrapped about an inlay or an imbedded core 33 of another material moulded within the exoskeleton. The end peripheries of the modular components are substantially radially aligned with respect to the axis of rotation of the milking platform. • Publication number: 20190048653
Abstract: A door knocker for use by a cat for requesting entry into a house. This knocker comprises a mounting block attached to a door surface; a longitudinal spring having a first end mounted to the mounting block and a second end extending vertically downward from the first end. A hardwood ball is mounted to the second end. The ball is held at a knocking distance from the door surface. A string with loose frayed ends is attached to the second end of the spring near the ball. A cat coming near the door knocker is attracted to the string with frayed ends and instinctively starts to play with the string to operate the door knocker into a series of repetitive door knocks. The door knocker according to the present invention does not require any significant physical or mental effort from a cat.

  • Publication number: 20190040139
Abstract: Provided herein is a method for determining cancer treatment using an immune modulating therapy in a subject in need thereof. The method comprises assessing whether a lymphatic system in a subject is dysregulated. When the lymphatic system is dysregulated, a treatment for the lymphatic system is determined before a therapeutic amount of an immune modulating therapy is administered to treat cancer in the subject. Alternatively, when the lymphatic system is dysregulated, an immune modulating therapy is selected to treat cancer in the subject, which immune modulating therapy is independent of immune-cell priming, antigen trafficking, antigen presentation, and any combination thereof. The subject may also be treated for cancer accordingly.

  • Publication number: 20190043737
Abstract: A system includes a programmable logic device (PLD) and a processor. The processor determines sets of power values associated with respective portions of a plurality of portions of the PLD. The processor also determines a temperature value for each portion of the plurality of portions based on the sets of power values and platform data associated with the PLD. Additionally, the processor generates a power map indicative of an expected amount of power for each portion of the plurality of portions based on the sets of power values. Furthermore, the processor generates a heat map indicative of an expected temperature value for each portion of the plurality of portions.

  • Publication number: 20190034956
Abstract: A method and system for communication protocol pass reduction amongst recipient nodes capable of receiving broadcast messages, the recipient nodes functioning as different decisions points for determination of a passing joint set of nodes for squadron communication therebetween. The method and system provide squadron communication between different ones of the recipient nodes, wherein one of the recipient nodes becomes a squadron leader node upon a selection of a specific broadcast message for distribution to other recipient nodes for acceptance. The squadron leader node and the other recipient nodes upon acceptance form the passing joint set of nodes for squadron communication therebetween.
