  • Patent number: 11980773
Abstract: An illuminated bassinet including a light source for delivering therapeutic light and anti-bacterial light, where an interlock prevents the anti-bacterial light from being emitted while an infant is located in the bassinet. Also, a surgical illuminator configured to concurrently or alternately emit different wavelengths of light for treating a physiological condition and for affecting perception of the surgical opening.

  • Publication number: 20150373217
Abstract: A system and method for feeding pages in an ADF is disclosed. The system comprises an input tray, a paper picking system and a combined output tray/image platen. The paper picking system is coupled to the input tray and picks pages from a stack of pages loaded into the input tray. The paper picking system feeds the pages in sequence into the combined output tray/image platen. The pages are stacked into the combined output tray/image platen with the first page stacked on the bottom of the stack. An image of the top side of each page can be captured after the page has been stacked into the combined output tray/image platen before the next page is stacked on top.

  • Patent number: 8179132
Abstract: A method for integrating a measurement device for use in measuring a machine component includes providing a coordinate measuring machine (CMM) and combining eddy current (EC) capabilities and CMM capabilities to form an inspection probe. The method further includes installing the inspection probe on the CMM so that the inspection probe measures external boundaries of the machine component with the CMM capabilities and substantially simultaneously measures at least one of internal boundaries, internal defects, surface defects, and material properties of the machine component with the EC capabilities, which are directly linked to actual component dimensional information provided by CMM. The inspection data can be simultaneously linked to and/or displayed with a CAD model to enable a direct comparison between the inspection data and the nominal requirements specified on the CAD model.

  • Publication number: 20080013640
Abstract: A multi-dimensional Burst Link Access Streaming Transmission (BLAST) architecture, which provides flexible physical apparatus for balanced performance of data throughput, latency, and reliability of transmission (e.g. graceful degradation). A schedule is sent from a master node to alert targeted nodes regarding messages to be sent. The master node uses a P-Band transmission link operating a regular intervals to synchronize the system in preparation for receipt of a message over a synchronous link. Each node has the capability of sending and receiving synchronous and asynchronous messages.
