  • Publication number: 20080202706
Abstract: A device for the closure and/or protection of openings in structures has closure elements (10), which are arranged in such a way that they hang under running carriages (12) which can be made to move in a running rail (13). In the device according to the invention, each running carriage (12) has a bearing body (32) made of plastic, four running wheels (22) made of plastic, mounted on two parallel axes, and a sliding bearing (33) made of plastic and with good emergency running properties, assigned to each running wheel (22). This ensures that the closure elements (10) connected in a hinge-like manner are reliably folded together and unfolded.
