  • Publication number: 20240255168
Abstract: Systems and methods utilized to create and perform an alert system in a heating, ventilation, and air conditioner (HVAC) system. One implementation includes a visual alert system to alert of a fault in the HVAC system. The system includes one or more LED lights indicating the fault and disposed on an exterior surface of a housing of the HVAC system. The system includes a programmable logic relay (PLR) having one or more relay outputs configured to activate, based on a type of the fault and according to fault/error codes, an alert notification. The alert system can operate without another device having a display for input and output, the other device displaying one or more parameters of the HVAC system. The system includes at least one of a high pressure switch, a low pressure switch, a differential air pressure switch, or an access panel switch.

  • Patent number: 10814213
Abstract: A game and method of playing the same is characterized by offensive strategy having an object of occupying a majority of designated goal space(s). The game comprises a board defined by spaces arranged, in part, as a grid. One or more of the spaces is visually distinguishable from the others as a goal space. Players may take turns in sequence placing a tile from their respective decks of such tiles on a space on the board. Tiles may comprise one or more movement indicators which enable a player to move tiles already occupying a space on the board into an adjacent unoccupied space, and further prevent a player from moving certain tiles already occupying a space on the board. When a game ending event occurs, the player whose tiles occupy the most goal spaces may be deemed the winner.

  • Patent number: 8782402
Abstract: Encryption of electronic messages may be automatically processed by a messaging system based on keywords or other attributes of the messages. In one example, if the message includes a predefined keyword, the messaging system may automatically encrypt the message for all recipients outside of a private network. In another example, the messaging system may automatically encrypt messages based on recipient address. Thus, if a recipient is on a list of addresses to which encryption applies, the message being sent to that particular recipient may be encrypted while a copy of the message being sent to other recipients not on the list might remain unencrypted.

  • Patent number: 8605262
Abstract: A continuous wave Light Detection and Ranging (CW LiDAR) system utilizes two or more laser frequencies and time or range shifted pseudorandom noise (PN) codes to discriminate between the laser frequencies. The performance of these codes can be improved by subtracting out the bias before processing. The CW LiDAR system may be mounted to an artificial satellite orbiting the earth, and the relative strength of the return signal for each frequency can be utilized to determine the concentration of selected gases or other substances in the atmosphere.

  • Patent number: 7383787
Abstract: The folding boat includes bow and stern members made up of a pair of tubes connectable to each other through a pin mechanism. A polarity of chines extend the length of the boat and are made up of connected tubes which can be disconnected amidships. Cockpit tubes serve to define a cockpit region and are interconnected by hinges and by pin clips to allow folding along two axis approximating one-forth of its assembled size.

  • Publication number: 20050241185
Abstract: A shoe insert including a bladder positioned within a main body. The bladder includes a fluid tight membrane defining an interior chamber containing a liquid. The bladder further includes a heel portion in fluid communication with lateral and medial passages, which are in turn in fluid communication with a metatarsal portion. A central island of solid material is bounded by the heel portion, the lateral and medial passages, and the metatarsal portion, such that the bladder is configured to move liquid contained within the interior chamber in a cycle that conforms to a natural gait cycle.
