Publication number: 20240324794Abstract: A merchandiser including a case that defines a shelf configuration and that has a base and a rear wall cooperating to at least partially define a product display area. The merchandiser also includes an air passageway that extends through base and at least partially along the rear wall, and a fan that is in communication with the air passageway and that generates an airflow through the air passageway. The merchandiser further includes a discharge grill and a vane control. The discharge grill is positioned in the air passageway and has one or more vanes with a discharge angle to direct the airflow through the case. The vane control is coupled to the one or more vanes and has a mechanism that adjusts the discharge angle of the one or more vanes to control the airflow through the merchandiser based at least in part on the shelf configuration.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 13, 2022Publication date: October 3, 2024Inventors: Monish B. Chauhan, Michael A. Gillett, Sandeep Palaksha

Publication number: 20240308397Abstract: A booster seat for supporting a child in a vehicle includes a lower base having a pair of sidewalls extending on opposing sides of a central axis, and a pair of narrowing walls also extending on opposing sides of the central axis. Each of the narrowing walls include at least one segment positioned between a pair of planes defined by the pair of sidewalls. A seatback frame is connectable to the lower base and includes a plurality of slots formed therein. A plurality of padding modules are detachably engageable with the seatback frame, with each padding module including a pad, a connecting fin coupled to the pad, and a locking flange coupled to the connecting pin. Each of the plurality of padding modules are insertable into a respective one of the plurality of slots to facilitate engagement between the plurality of padding modules and the seatback frame.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 23, 2024Publication date: September 19, 2024Inventors: Michael A. Publication number: 20230389721Abstract: The present invention provides a merchandiser including a case defining primary and secondary air passageways, a first fan, and an evaporator. The case includes a base having first and second air inlets, one or more walls, and a canopy cooperatively defining a product display area accessible through an opening. The evaporator is disposed in the base. A first fan is disposed in the case and generates a primary airflow through the primary air passageway. The first fan, or a second fan, generates a secondary airflow through the secondary air passageway. Air from the product display area, air outlet, or both entering the first air inlet at least partially defines the first airflow which flows through the evaporator via the primary air passageway. The secondary airflow flows through the evaporator and is at least partially defined by air flowing past the first air inlet and entering the second air inlet.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 1, 2023Publication date: December 7, 2023Inventors: Timothy K. Mandelcorn, Michael A. Gillett, Eric J. Melton

Patent number: 10323873Abstract: An island merchandiser including a first merchandiser module, a second merchandiser module, and a single, unitary base. The first merchandiser module includes a first case defining a first product display area that is maintained within a predetermined temperature range below approximately 41 degrees Fahrenheit. The second merchandiser module is positioned next to the first merchandiser module, and includes a second case defining a second product display area The second merchandiser module is positioned so that a rear wall of the second case is in communication with a rear wall of the first case so that the first and second merchandiser modules are positioned in a back-to-back relationship. The unitary base is positioned to at least partially support each of the first and second merchandiser modules relative to a support surface. The module defined by the second merchandiser module is different from the module defined by the first merchandiser module.Type: GrantFiled: September 25, 2013Date of Patent: June 18, 2019Assignee: Hussmann CorporationInventors: Moisses Navarro, Diego Wood, Raymond P. Patent number: 9272641Abstract: A child seat includes a seat shell having an anchor strap made of a continuous web material, and a lock. The anchor strap has two end portions, and an intermediate portion between the two end portions. The two end portions are located at the rear of the seat shell and are respectively provided with fasteners operable to attach with an anchor structure of a vehicle, and the intermediate portion is folded over to define two segments of the web material. The lock can releasibly clamp a portion of the two segments, the intermediate portion extending outward from the lock to define a looped tab. Moreover, an interior of the seat shell can have a strap guiding structure including two sidewalls between which is defined a passage for the web material. The two sidewalls are substantially close to each other to prevent twisting of the web material.Type: GrantFiled: June 28, 2012Date of Patent: March 1, 2016Assignee: Wonderland Nurserygoods Company LimitedInventors: Curtis M.
