  • Patent number: 10394703
Abstract: An improved technique for managing an electronic system suitable for providing users with information technology resources, such as compute, storage, and network resources, builds an object model instance of data center components to represent the data center components as a unified entity, which administrators can access as a single-point source for information about the components. • Patent number: 8027841
Abstract: Systems and methods provide security intelligence knowledge of network communications. Particularly, VoIP packetized data being communicated over the network, together with other types of data communications over the network, is monitored and detected. From the VoIP packetized data, select portions or streams of the VoIP packetized data are identified. The select packetized data is then matched to a fingerprint or other indicia that indicates that the data is suspect for security intelligence knowledge purposes. The matched data is translated for purposes of taking security precautions based on the content of the security intelligence knowledge so gleaned.

  • Patent number: 7756031
Abstract: Systems and methods for optimizing usage of an available bandwidth for VoIP communications include a communications system, such as the Internet, for carrying the VoIP communication signals. A switch and a bandwidth limiter connected to the switch restrict bandwidth usage by applications other than those required for the VoIP communications. In the system, a modem or other narrowband network interface, a router, a network adapter, and a VoIP element are housed as a unit. The switch turns “on” and “off” the bandwidth limiter, and the bandwidth limiter when “on” restricts bandwidth usage of the adapter. The communications system is a digital data network, and the modem accesses the digital data network via connection of the modem to the network. Features for emergency bypass and external power supplies are included.

  • Publication number: 20090188157
Abstract: A device and method a provided for mixing and enhancing reaction between oil and a non-oil liquid by exploiting the formation, implosion and explosion of numerous cavitation bubbles within a cavitation device. Intense localized energy from the collapse of the cavitation bubbles subjects the mixture to intense heat and pressure, thereby accelerating reaction between the oil and non-oil liquid. In one embodiment, the non-oil liquid is an alcohol, and the cavitation device is used to enhance a transesterification reaction to convert the oil and alcohol into biodiesel in the presence of a catalyst.

  • Patent number: 7561520
Abstract: Systems and methods limit capacity available for VoIP or other packetized data communications over a communications network. An initiator of the call is communicatively connected to the network, for example, by a gateway switch. The call has a particular destination communicatively connected to the network, such as a market gateway. An identifier of the destination is communicated over the network to a database. The database, via a load distribution proxy and capacity limiting proxies, controls whether or not the call is ultimately communicated to the destination, based on capacity loading then occurring at the destination.

  • Publication number: 20090162271
Abstract: A process for modifying a liquid, comprising introducing a liquid into a cavitation device and cavitating the liquid in the cavitation device. During cavitation the liquid makes contact with an electron emitting material to inject electrons into the liquid. In some embodiments, the electron emitting material is a quartz crystal and the cavitation process produces micro-clustered water.

  • Patent number: 7539155
Abstract: A packetized telecommunication network directs a call that is received at a gateway of the network to connect to a feature platform via the network, which performs a service related to the call, such as an authentication service. After the service is performed, the call is redirected to another location in the network to provide a connection between the gateway and the other location, which connection is independent of the feature platform.

  • Patent number: 7420978
Abstract: A telecommunication service charges for voice calls entering a network over a particular time period, such as a billing period. A parameter or parameters related to the number of information units (e.g., packets, bytes or bits) used to transmit the plurality of voice calls over the network is measured. A charge for the plurality of voice calls is computed based on the one or more parameters measured. The one or more parameters may be used to compute a charge for the plurality of voice calls based on the total number of information units transmitted, average number of information units transmitted, peak information units transmitted over the billing period or some combination thereof.

  • Publication number: 20070271049
Abstract: A method and system acquires a set of samples of a periodic signal, and calculates a variance between the set of samples and an ideal set of samples to create a variance data set. The method and system further calculates an FFT of the variance data set, filters the calculated FFT of the variance data set, calculates an inverse FFT on the filtered data set, and measures the resulting time domain signal.

  • Patent number: 7198254
Abstract: The system for producing a micro-cluster liquid from a starting liquid utilizes a cavitation device with a plurality of reverse-fed pump volutes within a housing, where each volute establishes a rotational vortex for spinning the liquid in a circle and directing a liquid stream into a common chamber at a center of the housing. The starting liquid is pumped into the cavitation device at a first pressure and tangentially fed into each volute. The rotational vortex creates a partial vacuum within the spinning liquid so that cavitation bubbles are formed when the liquid exits the volute. The common chamber is maintained at a lower pressure so that the bubbles explode or implode upon exit from the volute to generate shock waves that break molecular bonds in the liquid. The volutes are oriented so that the liquid streams collide with each other within the common chamber, facilitating breakdown of molecular bonds.

  • Publication number: 20070003497
Abstract: A cavitation device includes a pair of axially aligned opposing nozzles within a housing. Liquid is introduced into the nozzles at a pressure to create rotational vortices within the nozzles, causing cavitation. The thermo-physical reactions resulting from cavitation produce an increase in heat and breaking of the bonds holding large fluid arrays together. Additional cavitation is induced by a collision between the liquid outputs of the opposing nozzles to enhance mixing. By subjecting a mixture of material(s) to be dissolved in water to a cavitation device, a true solution of a lipophilic and water or stable suspension of particulate solids in water can be formed.
