Abstract: A dual walled insulating paperboard container is disclosed. The container preferably includes an inner cup and an outer cup each having tapered sidewalls. The sidewalls, however, have different angles of taper to provide an insulating cavity therebetween. Additionally, the bottom of the inner cup is spaced from the bottom of the outer cup to create an insulating barrier along the bottom of the container. The outer cup also includes a stepped region along its top that cooperates with a curled top edge of the inner cup to provide another insulating cavity along the top of the container.

Abstract: A tubular paperboard carton has a side wall, a bottom wall, and gussets foldably attached to said walls. The side wall is formed from a pair of panels at least one of which has a recess on its edge. The recess is interposed between a gusset and an edge of the other of said side wall forming panels when the carton is erected. A spot of adhesive is applied at the juncture of the gussets.

Abstract: A tubular carton is formed from paperboard and has a side wall formed from a pair of wall panels joined to each other at their edges. A bottom wall is foldably attached to a bottom edge of the sidewall. At least a portion of a fold line between the bottom wall and the side wall is curved providing contoured, recessed bottom wall when the carton is set up.

Abstract: An open-ended, sleeve type carrier carton having an advertising display panel foldably connected to an end of the carton top wall and also having a locking tab engageable with the panel to retain it in a generally vertical position.
