  • Patent number: 9309002
Abstract: Evacuation systems including slide readiness indicators are detailed. The indicators may include lights colored, preferably, red and green and powered using either pre-existing or dedicated electricity sources. Associated switching equipment defaults to illumination of a red light until a slide is satisfactorily inflated and deployed, at which time the red light is extinguished and a green light is illuminated to provide affirmative indication that evacuation via the slide may commence.

Date of Patent: April 12, 2016
    Assignee: Air Cruisers Company

  • Patent number: 5519772
Abstract: A method and system for providing interactive capabilities in a network-based telephone system 100 a service control point (SCP) 102 for accessing a call processing record (CPR) and having an intelligent peripheral (IP) 104 for providing an intelligent interface between a caller 112 and the SCP 102. The IP 104 communicates with the SCP 102 through a peripheral interface (PI) 128. External systems 106 are accessed by SCP 102 through a generic data interface (GDI) 124 to obtain customer data. The GDI 124 keeps track of the data stored in the various external systems 106. Upon receiving a request for data, GDI 124 forms sub-requests, routes the sub-requests to the appropriate external systems 106, and returns a message containing the requested data.

  • Patent number: 4751635
Abstract: A management system utilizes a distributed network having a host computer connected to one or more computer based workstations. Separate, on-line softward support systems provide the execution environment for the system. Each support system provides data that reflects one or more aspects of a life cycle of a development project. This data is stored in separate databases associated with each support system. Periodically, the host computer extracts information from each of these support system databases to obtain data indicative of development activity for various phases of the life cycle of the software system. The extracted information is used to update a relational database. At any time, a manager situated at a workstation can formulate queries into the relational database. Thereafter, the workstation, through a workstation/host communications interface, initiates a host session and then loads the queries into the host computer.
