Abstract: Aspects described herein may relate to a transaction exchange platform using a streaming data platform (SDP) and microservices to process transactions according to review and approval workflows. The transaction exchange platform may receive transactions from origination sources, which may be added to the SDP as transaction objects. Microservices on the transaction exchange platform may interact with the transaction objects based on configured workflows associated with the transactions. Processing on the transaction exchange platform may facilitate clearing and settlement of transactions. Some aspects may provide for dynamic and flexible reconfiguration of workflows and/or microservices. Other aspects may provide for data snapshots and workflow tracking, allowing for monitoring, quality control, and auditability of transactions on the transaction exchange platform.

  • Patent number: 11801656
Abstract: There is provided a laminated composite structure having improved impact damage resistance and improved strength. The laminated composite structure has a plurality of stacked layers of a composite material. The plurality of stacked layers have one or more interlaminar corrugations formed within the plurality of stacked layers. Each interlaminar corrugation has a substantially sinusoidal shaped profile, and has a depth and a length dependent on a size of the laminated composite structure formed. The laminated composite structure with the one or more interlaminar corrugations has improved strength and improved impact damage resistance at an exposed edge of the laminated composite structure, when the exposed edge is subjected to an impact force.

  • Patent number: 11803196
Abstract: Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and control thereof to assemble into flexible, dynamic structures. A UAV includes a flexible screen retractable between extended and retracted positions, connector(s) for coupling to another UAV that can pull the flexible screen from a retracted position to an extended position, and a coupling portion for coupling to connector(s) of yet another UAV to connect to and extend a flexible screen thereof. Chain(s) of coupled UAVs with extended flexible screens thereof form a structure that can change shape and size based on UAV movement. Local wireless communication with a group control UAV facilitates coordinated positioning and control of a UAV group. A group control UAV with a power supply and an electrical conducting lead can power UAVs of a group while it and they are in-flight, and can perform real-time management of the group UAVs in forming and maintaining a desired shape of the structure.

  • Patent number: 11804239
Abstract: In an embodiment, a method comprises: capturing, by one or more microphone arrays of a vehicle, sound signals in an environment; extracting frequency spectrum features from the sound signals; predicting, using an acoustic scene classifier and the frequency spectrum features, one or more siren signal classifications; converting the one or more siren signal classifications into one or more siren signal event detections; computing time delay of arrival estimates for the one or more detected siren signals; estimating one or more bearing angles to one or more sources of the one or more detected siren signals using the time delay of arrival estimates and a known geometry of the microphone array; and tracking, using a Bayesian filter, the one or more bearing angles. If a siren is detected, actions are performed by the vehicle depending on the location of the emergency vehicle and whether the emergency vehicle is active or inactive.

  • Publication number: 20230339462
Abstract: Systems and methods for controlling the motion of an autonomous are provided. In one example embodiment, a computer-implemented method includes obtaining data associated with an object within a surrounding environment of an autonomous vehicle. The data associated with the object is indicative of a predicted motion trajectory of the object. The method includes determining a vehicle action sequence based at least in part on the predicted motion trajectory of the object. The vehicle action sequence is indicative of a plurality of vehicle actions for the autonomous vehicle at a plurality of respective time steps associated with the predicted motion trajectory. The method includes determining a motion plan for the autonomous vehicle based at least in part on the vehicle action sequence. The method includes causing the autonomous vehicle to initiate motion control in accordance with at least a portion of the motion plan.
