The method then comprises analyzing the business processes to identify specific activities performed in executing the processes and patterns for performing the respective activities, and subsequently constructing the knowledge portal in accordance with the patterns. Analyzing the business processes to identify specific activities performed in executing the processes may be done by developing scenarios for using the portal in performing the respective activities and examining the scenarios to identify the patterns for performing the respective activities.
