  • Patent number: 6980611
Abstract: A system for suppressing ambient signals from a signal containing radiated emissions of a electronic device and ambient signals. The system comprises a first receiver operative to receive the ambient signals and the radiated emissions from the electronic device. The first receiver is operative to demodulate and digitize the ambient signals and the radiated emissions. The system further comprises a second receiver operative to receive primarily the ambient signals wherein the second receiver is time and frequency synchronized to the first receiver and operative to demodulate and digitize the ambient signals. A central computer is in electrical communication with the first and second receivers and is operative to store and process the ambient signals and the radiated emissions from respective ones of the first and second receivers. Accordingly, the central computer is configured as an adaptive filter operative to suppress the ambient signals correlated between the first and second receivers.

  • Patent number: 5605230
Abstract: A container, such as the type having a base portion, and an upper neck portion, a shoulder portion between the neck and base portion and a removable closure applied to the neck portion in a sealed relation therewith, is provided with an anti-counterfeit multi-layer label construction. The multi-layer construction includes a label which is adhesively applied to the back side of a container. A printed indicia is provided on the front side of the label so as to be readable by the customer upon removal of an overlying sleeve which is placed over the label. The sleeve is in the form of a protective film which is heat shrunk into a conforming, sealed relationship around the container and which covers at least a portion of the label. A release coat is provided over the underlying printing. A background coat is provided over the release coat so as to cover the underlying printing. Top indicia is provided on the background coat with a varnish thereon.

  • Patent number: 3930495
Abstract: A bicycle type of exercising device for paraplegic invalids comprising an elongated structure having one end adapted to rest upon the floor and its other end adapted to rest upon the end of a conventional bed. Handle bar means and seat support means are mounted upon the end resting upon the floor to provide a manual operator station. The latter end is also provided with a first bicycle sprocket which is operably connected by a link chain to a second sprocket operably connected to the other end of the elongated structure. The second sprocket means is provided with pedal means adapted to receive and retain the feet of a paraplegic who is horizontally disposed in the bed on which the present device is operably mounted whereby the invalid can pedal the present device alone, or preferably, his legs can be exercised by an operator pedaling at the other end provided with the manual station.
