  • Patent number: 10652286
Abstract: Described are systems, methods, and apparatus that enable constraint based communications between two or more devices. For example, a first user of a first device may submit a communication request to establish a communication session with a second user and provide a constraint for that communication session, such as a time-limit (e.g., limit the communication session to five minutes). In such an example, if the second user accepts the communication request with the constraint, a communication session is established and the system monitors the communication session to determine when a condition corresponding to the constraint has been satisfied. When the condition is satisfied, the communication session is terminated by the system.

  • Patent number: 10640340
Abstract: A mobile crane having a tiltably mounted main jib which can be erected by a tilting cylinder, and having a main jib extension releasably connected to a main jib head of the main jib by upper and lower bolts. Starting from a normal position, after release of the upper bolts, the main jib extension can be angled about a tilting axis relative to the main jib by an angling drive that engages on a foot of the main jib extension, and a drive that is provided for another purpose supplies the kinetic energy for the angling drive. The angling drive includes a lever element having two lever arms, pivotably mounted on the upper chord of the main jib extension, with the first lever arm being connected to a lifting cable of the lifting gear for operation of the angling drive and engaging the main jib head by the second lever arm.

  • Publication number: 20200136205
Abstract: A modular heat exchanger for battery thermal management having a plurality of similarly constructed heat exchange elements affixed to a cover plate and fluidly coupled with one another via a single external manifold structure that functions as both an inlet manifold and an outlet manifold for each of the heat exchange elements. Rigidity is improved with alternating tabs or overlapping tabs between adjacent elements, and/or side edges between adjacent elements having cutouts for receiving stiffening ribs formed in the cover plate. The external manifold structure provides additional stiffening for the interconnected heat exchange elements.

  • Patent number: 10632372
Abstract: A game spectating system that provides interfaces and methods for providing game content to viewers. The spectating system obtains game metadata from game systems for games being broadcast by the spectating system according to the API, and generates broadcast content based at least in part on the game metadata. The broadcast content includes user interface (UI) elements for obtaining virtual or physical objects corresponding to the game content. The broadcast content is provided to spectator devices with the broadcasts. The spectating system receives indications of spectators' interactions with the broadcast content from the spectator devices including interactions requesting the virtual or physical objects, and facilitates provisioning or delivery of the objects to respective spectator devices or spectators.

  • Patent number: 10634910
Abstract: An apparatus to provide reflection and information includes a mirror, which has a front side and a backside and further includes a glass layer. The glass layer has an area and a first reflectivity. A reflective layer is adhered to the backside of the mirror and a protective layer is adhered to the reflective layer. The reflective layer further includes a vanishing viewing window. Within the vanishing viewing window at least a part of the protective layer is removed from the to provide a second reflectivity for the vanishing viewing window, such that the first reflectivity is greater than the second reflectivity. The apparatus includes a data display. The data display is positioned behind the vanishing viewing window, such that when a user views the front side, the user sees a reflection in the mirror when the data display is in an off state and when the data display is in an on state the user sees a reflection in the mirror and data in the vanishing viewing window.

  • Publication number: 20200116604
Abstract: A particle sensing system is for sensing particles entrained in a fluid. The system comprises a flow channel having a longitudinal direction along which the fluid is to be passed, a heating arrangement for heating the fluid and thereby applying a positive thermophoretic force on the fluid in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the flow channel and a first sensor for sensing the particles in the fluid after heating by the heating arrangement. The thermophoretic force increases the concentration of the particles at the first sensor.
