  • Publication number: 20210392600
Abstract: Examples provide a method for clock calibration. A wireless communication device includes a first clock and a second clock. The first clock is turned off but the second clock runs during the inactive state of the wireless communication device. A frequency offset of the first clock is measured with respect to a reference frequency based on a signal received from a network. A virtual timer, which is a software-based timer is updated based on the frequency offset. A drift of the second clock is measured over a predetermined time interval based on the virtual timer. The virtual timer is restored based on the drift after wake-up from the inactive state. Alternatively, a clock frequency relation between the first clock and the second clock may be measured and a phase locked loop (PLL) may be controlled based on the measured clock frequency relation.

  • Patent number: 7574760
Abstract: A cushion comprises a first surface made of flexible high polymer resin; a second surface made of flexible high polymer resin, in at least partially coextensive relation to the first surface to define a cavity therebetween, the coextensive relation defining opposing corresponding portions of the first and second surfaces; a plurality of support members comprising inwardly directed indentations in both of the first and second surfaces extending into the cavity, a plurality of the indentations in each of the first and second surfaces having a square shape and an outwardly facing recess, a plurality of the indentations in the first surface abutting the indentations in the second surface; a layer of viscoelastic foam substantially overlying the first surface; and, a fabric enclosure surrounding the first surface, the second surface and the foam layer.

  • Patent number: 5813674
Abstract: A seal assembly 18 for blocking the leakage of fluid between a first region 26 and a second region 28 is disclosed. Various construction details are developed for improving the sealing capability under operative conditions which cause a severe reverse pressure gradient across the seal assembly. In one particular embodiment, the seal assembly includes a seal 36 having a front 88 which faces the first region and a pair of sidewalls 92, 94 which extend from the front and are urged apart by a spring means 96.
