Abstract: This application provides for a material configuration and method of manufacture to provide grip and slip resistant in fabrics used in clothing and gloves that require high performance slip resistance against the skin.

Abstract: An irrigation filter system and method is provided. The system may have a body and a filtration subsystem and may separate fluid from detritus carried by the fluid. The fluid may be released onto a crop, while the detritus is collected by the filtration subsystem. A drain fixture may be operated to release the detritus from the irrigation filter system in response to at least one of the pressure of the fluid flowing in the system and gravity. In this manner, the detritus may be released without requiring the system to be shut down and/or disassembled.

Abstract: A method, device and system are provided for automated insertion of message conversation or thread participant changes in a message body prior to receipt of the message by a recipient of the reply message. Once a reply message is initiated at a first device and an initial recipient set defined for the reply message based on the participants of a previous message of the thread, one or more changes may be made to the recipients specified for the message. In response to a trigger detected at the device, changes to the initial recipient set are identified and indicated by a textual or other notification within the body of the reply message, rather than merely in a header or addressing portion of the reply message. The indication may then be viewable using a recipient messaging client even if header information reflecting the change in recipients is not displayed by the client.

Abstract: An electric machine includes a housing having an outer surface and an inner surface defining an interior zone. A solenoid mounting section is provided on the housing. The solenoid mounting section includes a shift lever opening that extends from the outer surface through the inner surface. A solenoid tower is mounted to the housing. The solenoid tower extends from a first end detachably coupled to the solenoid mounting section to a second end configured to receive a solenoid. The first end includes an opening that registers with the shift lever opening. At least one of the solenoid mounting section and the solenoid tower includes a seal.

Abstract: A method of operating a mobile device is provided, the method comprising: pairing the mobile device with a second device; having the second device poll a network service on behalf of the mobile device; and obtaining data provided by the network service. A method of operating on behalf of a mobile device is also provided, the method comprising: pairing a second device with the mobile device; polling a network service on behalf of the mobile device; and enabling data provided by the network service to be sent to the mobile device.

The static induction transistor (14; 114; 214) has a first channel (14.4; 114.4; 214.4) of a semi conducting material extending between a first main electrode (14.2; 114.2; 214.2) and a second main electrode (14.3; 114.3) through a first and a second insulating layer (11, 13; 111, 113), and has a first control electrode (14.1; 114.1) surrounding the first channel and extending between the first and the second insulating layer. The thin film transistor (16; 116) has a third main electrode (16.2; 116.2) and a fourth main electrode (16.3; 116.3) coupled by a second channel (16.4; 116.4) of a semi conducting material and a second control electrode (16.1; 116.1). At least one of the first and the second insulating layer functions as a dielectric layer between the second control electrode and the second channel.

Abstract: Songs titles and song artists or other content received on an HD-radio are cross-referenced to one or more geographic locations where they were heard on the radio by identifying a song title or artist in the HD radio data stream and instructing a global positioning system navigation unit to contemporaneously determine its location. The determined location and song title and/or artist are cross-referenced to each other in a list or database. A touch-sensitive display device is configured to display the location or portion of a route where a listened-to song was heard. Song titles and/or artists can be determined by tactile selection of portions of a route displayed on the map.

Abstract: The invention relates to a display structure comprising an electrode layer (3) superposed on a sub-layer (5) wherein a surface of the sub-layer facing the electrode layer is roughened. In particular, the display structure may relate to a TFT stack comprising a layer of an electrode metal corresponding to a pixel electrode (3). The pixel pad together with the data line (1) is used for charging of the pixel pad. The gate electrode (4) used is separated from the source and drain electrode (1, 3) by a dielectric layer (6). The structural layers of the TFT may be deposited on a suitable flexible substrate (7). In order to prevent defects in the light modulating layer (9) from being visible, a surface of the sub-layer (5) underlying the electrode layer (3) is roughened. It is desirable to provide such improvement to, among others, electrophoretic-type displays and liquid crystal-type displays.

The articles and gloves of the present invention have improved flexibility, breathability, dexterity and feel, and provide self-sanitizing and self-deodorizing capabilities and improved non-slip grip performance in dry, wet, humid and lubricated conditions.

If consent is refused cookies are automatically removed from the visitor's computer or device. Cookies classed as 3rd party in that they are placed by web server other that controlled by the Web Publisher, can also be stopped by the invention.
