  • Publication number: 20230228731
Abstract: Electromagnetic chip detectors and associated methods of detecting a metallic chip in engine fluid of an engine are provided. The method comprises supplying an electric current to a circuit extending between a first node and a second node to magnetize both a first electrically conductive terminal and a second electrically conductive terminal spaced apart from each other to define a chip-receiving gap therebetween, and detecting a change in resistance across the first node and the second node. The change in resistance is indicative of a capture of the chip by the electromagnetic chip detector. The chip electrically connects the first electrically conductive terminal to the second electrically conductive terminal. The first electrically conductive terminal is electrically connected to the first node. The second electrically conductive terminal is electrically connected to the second node.

  • Publication number: 20230211221
Abstract: A catching game for two to six players. Each team stands behind their own goal—the two goals are 12 yards apart. Each team member takes turns trying to throw a flying disc (Frisbee) through the opposite goal (12 yards away). The person throwing must stand behind their own goal—either directly behind it or next to it, but no closer than 12 yards away. Their Opponents also stand behind their own goal and will try to catch the Frisbee if it comes through this goal. Once caught or dropped, this player then tries to throw it back towards the other team's goal where their opponent is also standing behind waiting to try to catch the Frisbee. Players take turns in catching and throwing and can only score points if the Frisbee goes through their opponent's goal and is not caught.

  • Patent number: 11690995
Abstract: In an embodiment, a connector or connector assembly for attaching a nasal cannula with a gas delivery hose includes a sensor port for a sensor probe positioned near an end of a nasal cannula, which can allow the sensor probe to be placed closer to the patient's nostrils than previous connector parts allowed. The connector can be configured to advantageously allow the nasal cannula to rotate relative to the gas delivery hose, thereby allowing a patient or healthcare provider to untangle or otherwise straighten the hose or the cannula. The connector assembly can be configured to automatically align locking protrusions on a first component with locking recesses on a second component, where insertion of the second component within the first component causes the second component to rotate relative to the first component, thereby aligning the locking protrusions with associated locking recesses.

  • Patent number: 11681585
Abstract: Methods and systems for coordinating migration for a database of a service are described herein. Multiple releases of the service may be simultaneously implemented, and these multiple releases may access a shared database. As new releases of the service are activated, the database may be incrementally migrated to a new data schema version. The new data schema version may be compatible with each release of the service that is in use. After a migration has begun, instances of the service may be instructed to perform database operations using methods compatible with the new data schema version. Continuation tokens may be returned during the migration, which indicate portions of the shared database that have not yet been migrated. If an error occurs during the migration, the continuation tokens may be discarded, and the migration may be restarted.
