  • Publication number: 20240111450
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for effectively delivering notifications in data storage environments includes, receiving, by a storage controller from a host system, a request to register the host system with the storage controller to receive notifications. These notifications may be associated with a selected type of event detected by the storage controller. In certain embodiments, the selected type of event is a space-related condition associated with a particular storage resource controlled by the storage controller. The computer-implemented method registers the host system with the storage controller. In response to detecting an event of the selected type on the storage controller, the computer-implemented method transmits a notification from the storage controller to the host system to provide notice of the event. A corresponding system and computer program product are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11931047
Abstract: An osteotomy procedure may be performed to correct a misalignment of a bone, such as a bunion deformity. In some examples, the osteotomy procedure involves making a spherical-shaped cut transecting a first metatarsal, thereby forming a first metatarsal portion having a spherical-shaped projection and a second metatarsal portion having a spherical-shaped recess. The method further involves moving the second metatarsal portion in at least two planes relative to the first metatarsal portion, thereby adjusting an anatomical alignment of the second metatarsal portion.

  • Publication number: 20230330317
Abstract: A manifold for a medical/surgical waste collection system. An outlet opening and a fitting are in fluid communication with a manifold volume within a housing. The fitting receives a suction line. A filter element with porous features is disposed within the housing such that a fluid communication path is established across the filter element. The porous features trap material entrained within the fluid. A material collection volume is at least partially distal to and below a bottom of the filter element. As the fluid and the material is drawn through the fluid communication path, the material collects within the material collection volume. A flow diverter may be positioned within the housing for directing the material towards the material collection volume. The material collection volume may be at least partially defined by a tissue trap removably coupled to the housing.
